Chapter 25
"I missed you" Brian said softly sitting down next to her. "It's been 7 very long years."
"Well thats not my fault" Jessica said coldly. "Your the one that left"
"I made a mistake" Brian said "I came back to get you but you were gone."
"We already went threw this" Jessica sighed
"I only didn't tell you because I didn't want you to drop out" Brian said.
"I had three weeks until I would have graduated" Jessica said "I could have waited and so could have you. I never did finish school. I just got my GED"
"I'm sorry what more do you want" Brian said "I made the biggest mistake of my life by leaving you. I didn't want to. Now I'm paying the price. I still love you Jessica and I always will." He stood up. He picked Jessica up.
"What are you doing" Jessica growled
"Putting you on your horse" Brian said. He put her on Buttercup, strapped her feet in. Then got on his own horse. "I love you and I'm so sorry Jess." He kicked his horses side and the horse started to run.
"I love you to Brian" Jessica whispered "I just can't forgive you not yet at least." She broke down and started crying. Her horse started walking back.
"I guess I'll see ya later mom" Kevin smiled and kissed her cheek. "Love Ya"
"I love you to Kevin" Ann said "It was nice meeting you and your son Lindsey"
"Same here" Lindsey smiled and gave Ann a hug.
"Mommy can we go see Aunt Jessie yet?" Barry asked
"Not today" Lindsey said "It's getting late and you have to get to bed."
"But me not sleepy" Barry said As we into Kevin's car.
"Bye Kevin, Lindsey, Barry" Yelled Ann
"Bye Mom" Kevin said as they drove off. "My mom really likes you"
"I like her too" Lindsey said "She's very nice"
"What are your parents like?" kevin asked
"My mom died when I was 5" Lindsey said "And my dad just died last year"
"I'm sorry" Kevin said
"It's okay" Lindsey smiled "At least they are together again."
"Very true" Kevin laughed "Do you miss them"
"Yeah alot" Lindsey said "Except I barely knew my mom. I only seen her twice a year after my fourth. On Christmas, and my birthday."
"Where was she all the time?" Kevin asked
"She was a singer" Lindsey said "Really popular. She was always on the road. We would have traveled with her. It was just my dad was in a wheel chair, and couldn't get around good. So I stayed and helped my dad out.
"How did your mom die?" Kevin asked
"A fan's girlfriend I think" Lindsey said "She kidnapped her and shot her. It's what my dad tells me."
"Thats really sad" Kevin said as he pulled up at Jackie's house. They got out and headed to the house. When Jessica and Buttercup came strolling in the yard. Jessica looked up when she heard people talking. Right away She saw Kevin, Lindsey and Barry.
"Kevy" Jessica yelled Kevin looked up and grinned
"Hey Jess" Kevin said He ran up to her. "God it's been a long time." He grabbed her off the horse and gave her a big hug. While carrying her to the Littrell's porch. "So how you been?"
"I been better" Jessica said "It's been almost 10 years."
"No I last saw you almost 8 years ago when my dad died" Kevin said
"Oh thats right" Jessica said "Boy I missed you. Hey Linds sit down." Lindsey sat down next to her. Jessica took Barry from her. He had fallen asleep. "Kev?"
"Yeah" Kevin said. He noticed Brian, Nick, AJ, Howie, and Jackie behind them.
"How much does Brian truly miss me?" Jessica asked
"More than any thing in the world" Kevin said "Why?"
"Just wanted to know" Jessica said
"Jessica do you still love Brian?" Lindsey asked. She also noticed them behind them.
