Chapter 11
Tiffany's View
It's been 3 weeks since the whole Nick and Brian incident. No one has been talking to me. Well Jane and Bob talk to me sometimes but other then that everyone is mad at me. I haven't even heard from Howie. I'm starting to get depressed. I mean Brian won't talk to me and he's supposed to be mad at Nick. I'm not mad at Nick anymore. I didn't mean any of those things that I said to him. I was just upset. I want to apologize but I'm one of those people who have a hard time at saying sorry. I really don't want to lose Nicks friendship so I decided to apologize. I just hope he will listen.
I got out of bed and threw some overalls and a white tank top on. I went downstairs in the living room figuring Nick would be playing Nintendo. Guess what? He was but he wasn't in his regular yelling mood. I walked slowly toward him. As I approached him I noticed bags under his eyes and that he was pale. I sat next to him slowly.
"Hey Nicky," I said quietly. He didn't say anything.
"How are you?" I asked. No answer again.
"It doesn't look like you got any sleep," I said.
He threw his controller down and faced me, "What do you care! I thought you hated me! I thought you wanted me out of your life! I'm just a fat, dumb, ugly, insensitive, non-talented bastard to you!"
"Nicky…"
"I'm not done yet and don't call me Nicky! Only my best friend can call me Nicky! Tiffany you tore my heart apart while saying those words! You know how sensitive the subject of me being chubby is! If you were my friend you would not have called me those things! They hurt Tiffany!" he yelled with ears starting to stream down his face.
"I.. I.. I'm sorry," I quietly said looking down at my fingers.
"Sorry! Is that the best thing you can say!"
"I'm sorry Nick! I was upset! I didn't mean any of those things that I said! They just came out and because of my mouth everyone hates me! Brian won't talk to me or Howie not even AJ and he's my other best friend or was! I'm sorry and I regret everything that I said! All I want is your friendship! I don't want to lose you! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
By that time tears were falling down my face to. He just sat there staring at me. He didn't say anything.
"Don't you believe me?" I asked through my tears.
"Yes I do but how could you say something so mean?"
"I don't know! They just came out. I didn't mean one word of it. You're like family to me and I love you."
"You do?" he said happier.
"In a friend way. Look Nick I'm flattered that you love me in more then a friend way but I just don't feel the same way. I admit that you are hot and I do feel a little something but I just don't think it could work."
"I understand. So you really didn't mean anything you said?"
"Nope! Didn't mean one word!"
"And you think I'm pretty hot huh?"
"Yes I do. So do you forgive me?" I asked sticking out my bottom lip.
"Of course I do! I can never be mad at you to long! You're to cute!" he said hugging me.
"You know what?"
"What?' he said pulling away.
"I missed you. I didn't have anyone to turn to when I was sad and the person I usually turn to is you."
"Ditto"
"So are the other guys really mad at me?"
"I guess you can say that. Brian called me and apologized about the fight thing. He said that he was pretty upset about those things that you said. AJ called and said he was really pissed off at you. Howie called and asked about how I was doing and Kevin said he was mad at you to. Don't worry I'll fix everything by 1."
"1? How are you so sure?"
"I have skills that's why."
"Oh yeah! Lots of skills!"
"Yep! I'll go make a few phone calls and everything will be OK."
Nick got up and headed toward the kitchen to make his few phone calls. I'm really happy now that I know Nick and I are still friends.
The Next Day
Brian's View
I just got to Nick's house. I got a phone call from him explaining the conversation him and Tiffany had. I admit I was pissed off at her but from what Nick said she seems really sorry. He said she was even in tears. I got to the door and went in. I closed the door behind me and headed toward the living room. What I saw kind of made me jealous. Tiffany was in Nick's lap playing a video game and Nick's arms were around her waist holding his controller.
"Hi"
They both turned their heads to look at me.
"Oh hey Frack!" Nick said.
"Hey Bri," Tiffany said quietly getting off of Nick's lap and putting her controller away.
"Hey Princess, how are you?"
"I'm OK, how about you?"
"I'm doing pretty good. So I heard you and Nick made up."
"Yeah, and because of his many skills everyone else is suppose to forgive me."
"His skills? What skills?" I said laughing.
"Don't ask me!"
"Hey I have many skills! So don't make fun of me!" Nick yelled.
"Anyway! I guess his so called skills worked because none of the guys are mad at you including me," I said.
"That's good! Are the guys coming over at all? I really want to see Howie!" Tiffany said happily.
"Yeah they'll be over soon. Don't you want to see me though?"
"Of course I do! I haven't seen you in 3 weeks! I missed you so much!" Tiffany said sitting on my lap and giving me kisses all over my face.
"I missed you too!" I said following her actions.
"OK! Break it up you guys!" Nick screamed covering his eyes.
"Fine! We'll just wait till later!" Tiffany said getting up and sitting next to me on the couch.
"Yeah!" I said putting my arm around Tiffany's waist and putting my head on her shoulder.
"So what are we doing today?" Nick asked.
"I don't know! Let's wait till the rest of the guys get here," I said.
Tiffany's View
"Waz up?! AJ's in the house!" AJ yelled from the front door.
"Hey!" Howie said.
"Hi!" Kevin said walking in last.
"Oh hey guys! Pooh!" I screeched as I ran over to Howie to give him a hug.
"Oh my gosh! Lilly you've grown up so much!" Howie said hugging me tightly.
"It's so good to see you!" I said pulling away.
"It's good to see you to!" he replied.
"Now that we've had the last reunion what shall we do?" Brian asked.
"How about we go swimming?" I suggested.
"Nah! I don't feel like swimming," Nick whined.
"Me neither!" Brian whined as well.
"Fine! Then what do we do?" I asked.
"How about shopping?" AJ suggested.
"Fine by me!" I said.
Everyone else agreed.
Brian, Nick, and I went in Brian's jeep and Kevin, Howie, and AJ went in Kevin's BMW. I can't wait to go shopping. I've been meaning to get some clothes but there was a crisis but since it's over I can finally go on my shopping spree.
