Chapter 17
Nick's View
I was walking down the hall toward the elevator when Tiffany ran into me.
"Hey Tiffy! How are…" I started but stopped when I saw the tears streaming down her face. "What's wrong!?"
"B…B…Brian," she said in between sobs.
"Brian? What did he do?!"
"H…he…c…cheated…on…me!"
"He what!? With who!?
"L…Leighanne!"
"What!? That Bastard! How could he do this to you! Let's go downstairs to tell the other guys," I said as I took Tiffany's hand and lead her to the elevator. When we got to the lobby everyone was sitting on a couch off to the side.
"What's wrong!?" Kevin asked running up to Tiffany.
"She just found out that Brian cheated on her with Leighanne," I said.
"You're kidding!" Howie yelled.
"No! I'm serious! She ran into me in the hall and that's when she told me!"
"Come here Tay Tay. I'm sorry this had to happen to you." AJ said wrapping his arms around her and leading her to the couch and sitting her down.
Just then Brian ran out of the elevator. He looked around and then spotted us. He came jogging in our direction but I pushed him back.
"I need to talk to Tiffany!" he yelled franticly trying to get past me.
"No! You're not getting near her!" I yelled at him.
"I can if I want to! She's my girlfriend!"
"Not anymore! What you did was probably the worst thing you could do! One she was cheated on before by her old boyfriend and two she has a heart problem!"
"What?" he said with a shocked face.
"Oh yeah! I didn't tell you! She has a heart problem! She was born with it and hurting her like this is not going to help it!"
"I…I…I didn't know! I need to talk to her."
"NO! Why don't you just leave her alone and go out to the van!" I said as I pushed him away as I walked to Tiffany who was being comforted by the guys on the couch.
"Let's go folks! Get into the van! We're leaving!"
I came up to Tiffany and lifted her up off the couch in my arms. She snuggled up against my chest. She was calming down but now she had the hiccups. I walked out to the van. The van door was open and in the backseat was Brian bent over with his head in his hands crying. I gently put Tiffany in the seat in front of Brian's. Brian looked up and wiped his eyes quickly. I ignored him and got in next to her. She put her head on my shoulder. After a couple of minutes all the other guys came out. AJ and Howie were in the back with Brian and Kevin was in the passenger's seat. I saw Leighanne come out of the hotel happy .She went to the other van. What a bitch!
3 Hours Later
Tiffany's View
The entire flight to London was pure hell! Leighanne was in front of me giggling away with some other girl. I really hate her! I didn't before but I do now. I noticed that Brian was looking at me almost the entire time. I glared at him a couple of times but I didn't speak to him. I don't see why he cheated on me. I loved him with all my heart and I still do. That's the bad part. Even though he hurt me I still love him. I just can't forgive him or trust him again. Right now we were at the hotel in out assigned rooms. I was in a room with Nick. He arranged it that way. I was supposed to be with Brian but AJ offered to trade places.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Nick asked sitting next to me on the bed. I shook my head no.
"Do you want to play N64?" he asked. Again I shook my head.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he questioned. I looked up at him and couldn't resist the face he was giving me. I smiled a little. He was giving me a puppy dog look. I shook my head yes.
"Yeah! So how did you find out?"
"Well Brian answered the door and I asked if I could talk to him. He said yes and I walked into the bedroom. The shower was running but I ignored it. I figured he was just getting ready to take a shower. I started to say that I was sorry about lying to him and then I saw Leighanne open the bathroom door. She was standing in front of me in only a towel and her hair was dripping all over the floor. Brian turned around and saw her and looked back at me quickly. I started to yell at him saying how he lied to me and how it was through between us. After I yelled at him I yanked the ring that he gave me off and through it at him. I then said fuck you asshole and then slapped him. I ran out of the room and then I ran into you."
"Wow! I'm really sorry Tiffany. It just wasn't meant to be. The right guy for you is out there somewhere. Maybe he's right under your nose and you just don't know it yet," Nick said looking deep into my eyes.
I looked at his eyes and couldn't help but get lost in them. They were so beautiful but they weren't Brian's eyes. No one's eyes can replace his. He leaned in towards me cautiously. I think he might have thought that I would get mad at him but I leaned in toward him too. I closed my eyes and the next thing I felt was his soft lips on mine. It soon became more passionate. I opened my mouth a little bit and his tongue came into my mouth. He put his hands on my waist and he started to move up my shirt. He laid me down and got on top of me slowly never breaking apart from the kiss. Just when he went for my bra someone barged in. Nick jumped off of me and fell on the floor.
"Oh my gosh! I didn't mean to walk in on you! I figured that you guys would be watching TV!" AJ said blushing.
"It's OK Jay Jay," Tiffany said getting off of the bed.
Nick's View
God Dammit! I wanted to attack AJ! I was so close!
"Yeah, it's fine," I mumbled. Tiffany helped me off the floor.
"What was that thud!" Kevin yelled walking into the room. AJ looked at Tiffany and she nodded.
"Nicky and Tay Tay were just making out that's all!" AJ said smiling. I could tell he was happy that Tiffany at least was trying to move on. Kevin looked at us wide eyed.
"Tiffany don't you think that it's a little to early for you to be kissing other guys?" Kevin asked.
"What cha guys talkin' about?" Howie said walking in.
"Nick and Tiffany were in a major make out session when I walked in on them," AJ said smiling.
Brian's View
I was walking to my room just getting back from playing a little basketball and I over heard AJ saying that Tiffany and Nick were in a major make out session. I was behind Howie and I could fill tears filling in my eyes. It really was over. Tiffany doesn't love me anymore. She loves Nick. It looks like Nick finally got what he wanted. Howie walked in to the room and sat down on the couch revealing me in the doorway. Tiffany looked at me shocked. I looked at her sadly and walked to my room. I walked into by room and threw the basketball to the side. I walked to my bed and picked up my jacket. I reached into the pocket and pulled out a black velvet box. I sat down and opened it up. In it was the ring I gave to Tiffany and then there was another ring. I took in out and looked at it. It was an engagement ring. I know I haven't known Tiffany that long but I knew that she was the one so I figured I should just go for it. I want to spend the rest of my life with her but now I can't. The ring had a gold band with a big diamond in the middle and around the diamond was a bunch of other little diamonds. The inscription on it was 'I love you with all my heart, Your baby duck, Brian xoxo'. A few tears rolled down my face. I put the ring back in the box and put it back in my jacket. I threw my jacket on the chair that was next to my bed and I laid down. I opened my eyes to see a picture of Tiffany smiling. I picked it up and softly kissed it.
"I love you," I whispered. I hugged it tightly to my chest and curled up in a ball and fell asleep.
AJ's View
A Few Hours Later
I walked through the door to find the room dark. I flipped on the light and I saw Brian curled up in a ball on his bed sleeping. He had a picture of Tiffany in his arms and he had tearstains on his face. To tell you the truth I felt sorry for him. I know Brian loves Tiffany with all his heart. I frowned and walked up to him and covered him in a blanket. I heard him mumble 'Don't leave me Tiffany' and then 'I love you' when I put the blanket on him. I turned around and started toward the bathroom when I noticed something on the floor. I walked over and picked it up. It was a black velvet box. I opened it up and found two rings. One was the ring Tiffany used to have on her finger and the other was new. On the side was a small piece of paper. I took it out and read it 'Tiffany I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You've made my world light up and I can't imagine a world with out you. So will you do me this honor of being my bride and marrying me?'
I looked over at Brian with a shocked face. He was going to ask Tiffany to be his wife! That means that he didn't cheat on her! Oh my God! What am I gonna do!? Just then I heard a knock at the door. I headed to the door with the ring and note in my hand and opened it. Leighanne was standing before me.
"What do you want?!" I yelled angrily looking at the smiling Leighanne.
