Chapter 29
Tiffany's View
6 Months Later
It's been 6 months since I left Brian and the guys and their tour should be over but who knows. I haven't heard anything about where they are. As most of you have guessed is that I've been going through hell! All I do is think of Brian and I can't sleep. I've been getting better but I'm still pretty bad. Nick kept calling the first month or two none stop. I have caller ID so I knew who it was. I never talked to him though or picked up the phone when he called. I was afraid that if I talked to him and I tell him what's going on he'd tell Brian and I don't want that. He finally gave up on me and I haven't had any calls from him since.
Anyway I've gained about 16 pounds so far. My parents are great. I'm staying with them because I begged and begged when I came back. I guess you could say that they were a little ticked off at the beginning because they always told me to wait until I was married but they're supporting me and helping me through the pregnancy and my sister and brothers are helping me too. They come and visit me and my brother Tim is going to take me to Lamaze classes when it's time for them which should be in a week. I really have a great family. I think the baby will grow up nicely. At first I didn't want it but after thinking that a living person is growing inside me is just amazing! I've always wanted kids I just thought I would be married or a little older that's all.
I got out of my bed and headed to the mirror to take a look at me. I was getting huge since it's the 6th month. All of my cloths don't fit anymore so my sister, Alicia and I, went shopping for those pregnant women cloths. I must tell you that the cloths that I bought are huge! I still can't believe I'm blowing up like a whale. I smiled at my reflection and rubbed my stomach gently.
I put some overalls and a red tank top on and put my hair half up. I put my shoes on and put my make up on. I decided to take a walk outside or shoot a couple of basketballs if I'm able to in the park nearby. I picked up my ball and my bag that contains a water bottle and various other things and headed outside towards the park. I walked down the path and looked at the playground where lots of little kids were playing and screaming with joy. I can't wait to have my baby. I don't know what the sex is yet. I wanted to find out when he or she is born. Anyway I arrived at the courts and set my stuff down. A couple of guys were playing so I decided to wait by the side on a bench as they finished up. I thought they looked familiar but I ignored it. I searched through my bag and found that I had some paper and some colors. I love drawing and coloring. I looked around me to see what I could try to draw. I decide on a tree that was to the right of me. Under it was a woman sitting against it reading a book. I put one leg over one side of the bench and my other leg on the other side. I started to draw the tree carefully concentrating hard.
Brian's View
Nick and I were at some park playing basketball. The guys and I are doing a couple of concerts here in Colorado for the Columbine students and we got a free day so Nick and I decided to shoot some hoops. We're off the tour but we just wanted to give Colorado a couple of concerts due to the tragedy at Columbine High School and the ticket rip offs at our last concert here.
If you're thinking that I have forgotten about Tiffany you are way WAY wrong! I think about her every day. I try to forget about her but I just can't. I wonder how's she doing and what she's doing. She's part of my life that I can never forget and I'm going to go insane if I don't see her again.
Anyway I was winning 18-4. Nick really needs to practice. I was kicking his ass and he doesn't like it one little bit. Hehe! I love torturing him. He gets so frustrated. It's hilarious! You should play a game with him some time. He practically pulls out all his hair!
Nick just checked me the ball and I noticed that this girl showed up. I thought she looked familiar but I couldn't figure it out. She was kind of far away so I couldn't get a clear look of her. I could only tell that she was pregnant and that she had blond hair. She was drawing something but I didn't know what.
"Brian! Will you give me the ball!?" Nick said frustrated.
"Oh yeah here," I said walking up to him and handing it to him.
"Why did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Why did you hand me the ball? You were supposed to check it to me."
"Uh oops! I was just looking at that girl over there," I said pointing to the girl that was drawing.
He turned to look and then he turned back to me, "Bri it's really nice that you're looking at girls again but why are you looking at a pregnant one? She's probably married."
"No no! Does she look familiar to you?"
He turned to look at her again and then he turned back to me, "Yeah she does look familiar. Do you want me to go ask her for her name?"
"If you want," I shrugged.
"OK then I'll go ask if you don't care," he said walking towards the girl.
Tiffany's View
I was working on the woman when I heard footsteps coming toward me. I looked up to see a blond man walking towards me. He was one of the players from the court. I looked back down at my drawing and started to draw a little more. Maybe he wasn't coming toward me. He could be going to his car.
"Tiffany?" I heard a familiar voice say in shock. I looked up and my mouth dropped. I dropped my drawing and my pencil and said, "Nick?'
"Oh my God! Y…Y…You're pregnant!"
I looked down at my stomach and then back up at him.
"That's why you left isn't it?" he asked softly.
I got up and threw my ball and drawing into my bag and started to walk as fast as I could away from him.
"TIFFANY WAIT! DON'T' LEAVE!"
Brian's View
I was shooting some more hoops when I heard Nick scream, "TIFFANY WAIT! DON'T LEAVE!"
I spinned around and saw the girl walking as fast as she could away from Nick. I finally noticed that the girl was Tiffany.
"Tiffany," I said under my breath. I dropped my ball and started to run after her. Nick was right behind me as I got closer and closer to her. I finally reached her and grabbed her arm to stop her from going any further. I spun her around and saw tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Tiffany!" I said.
"Let go of me," she struggled from my grasp on her arm.
"No I'm not going you let you go again."
"Please let go of me!"
"Tiffany please tell me why you left."
Tiffany's View
I looked in his eyes, which were forming tears, and all I saw was pain and sadness. He let go of my arm and waited to see if I would run away or not. I didn't want to run away, even though I can't since I'm pregnant, I just wanted to stay by him for awhile but I can't. If I wait any longer I'll spill everything out of my mouth and ruin his life forever. I then decided I had to lie. I didn't want to but it was the only way.
"You want to know why I left?"
"Of course I do! I lost the woman I love and I don't know why."
"I don't see why you love me since I cheated on you."
"You what?"
"You heard me. I cheated on you with my ex boyfriend Josh and if you think that I loved you then you are way wrong because I could never love someone like you," I lied every word. Brian was crying know and he was backing away from me.
"You're lying!" he said.
"No I'm not Brian! Why do you think I was avoiding you that last week! HUH! Did you think that I was just tired from the tour like I said I was?"
"No I knew you were lying!"
"Really then you should have known that something else was going on and I didn't want to tell you. Know think about this for a minute. Put all the things that have happened to us together and come up with a solution. If you're really smart you can come up with the answer," I waited to see if he had any idea as to what I was talking about. He just stood there looking and the grass. Nick was beside him glaring at me. I looked in his eyes and tried to glare back to make it seem more real. Luckily I pulled it off.
"Ok your taking to long! I cheated on you with Josh! I was just using you for money and a little sex! If you think back Josh would call me and we ran into him a couple of times. I lied to you about being a virgin so you would think that I was pure and innocent and then you would want to have sex with me and then I got everything I wanted from you!"
"I can't believe this! I loved you with all my heart and this is what you do to me!? I even thought that you were pregnant with my child that I would love and care for no matter what!"
"Well your wrong! This is Josh's baby and not yours and I'm happy it's not yours!"
"You are the biggest BITCH that I have ever met and I don't ever want to see you again!" he said through gritted teeth. He turned and walked away form me. That's going to be the last time that I ever see him.
Nick looked at me and said 'bitch' then ran to catch up with Brian. Tears were streaming down my cheeks as they got in their rental car and left. What have I done?
