Chapter 6
Brian's View
It's 7:15 and the guys and I are heading over to Tiffany's in AJ's expedition. I can't wait to see Tiffany and Michelle again even tough I saw them yesterday. We're picking them up and then our girlfriends will meet us up there. I have to tell you that when we got back to the hotel last night I was going to tell Sara that I have a daughter and that Tiffany is going to the mountains but she wouldn't shut up! She just when on and on about anything. She just talked and talked so today when she sees Tiffany and Michelle she's going to freak out. She wanted only us to go up there. She didn't even want the other guys to come up. So now I'm trying to prepare for screaming when we get up there.
We parked in the driveway and I got out. The other guys were to tired to get out so they just stayed in the car. I rang the door bell and guess what I heard? Michelle running to the door. She swung it open and yelled happily, "Daddy!"
"Hey angel! Are you ready to go to the mountains?" I asked picking her up.
"Yep!"
"Where's mommy?"
"Kitchen," she said.
"OK if you want you can go out to the car with uncle Icky, J, Owie, and Kewy."
"Yeah!"
"OK then let me get your coat on," I said setting her down and picking up her coat that was hanging on a coat rack to my right. I slipped it on her and opened the door. She ran out to the car and started to hit the door. Nick opened the door and picked her up and then closed it again. I closed the house door and headed to the kitchen. Tiffany was at the table eating a pop tart.
"Good Morning!" I said sitting across from her.
"Morning! So where's my little sweet pea?"
"She's out in the car. So are you ready to go?'
"I guess," she said getting up and putting her cup in the sink. She walked in the living room and put her coat on. I followed her and picked up all her bags and opened the door. I went out to the car and opened the back and put the bags in with all our other bags. I closed the door and opened the car door for Tiffany who was now locking her house up. She walked over and hopped in. I then hopped in next to her.
"Is Michelle in her car seat?" Tiffany asked turning around to look in the very back seat.
"Yeah I strapped her in for ya," Nick said.
"Thanks," she said turning around again. Nick, Howie are in the very back, Tiffany and I are in the middle, Kevin is driving and Howie is in the passenger's seat.
"Are we ready?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah!" Michelle said jumping up and down.
"What she said," AJ laughed.
Kevin pulled out of the driveway and started toward the mountains.
30 Minutes Later
"Turn on some music!" Nick whined.
"It's to early in the morning!" Kevin said.
"No it isn't!" Nick argued.
"Just shut up! We still have an hour or so worth to drive and you're already getting on my nerves!" Kevin said.
"You guys haven't changed a bit," Tiffany laughed.
"I don't think we would have changed. We like who we are," Howie said looking at a magazine.
"I like who you guys are too."
"That's good because we wouldn't want you to not like us," I said smiling at her.
"How can I not like you guys!? You're to funny. You're a blast to be around."
"Yeah!" Michelle said.
"We really appreciate that munchkin," AJ said looking at Michelle. Michelle just smiled at him.
"You guys really like Michelle don't you?"
"Oh yeah! She's so fun to be around with!" Kevin said smiling.
"Yep we all feel the same way," Howie said shaking his head. He's still looking at the magazine.
"Hey D? What are you looking at?" I asked trying to see what he was reading.
"Um a magazine," he said closing it.
"I know that but what magazine?"
"A sports illustrated magazine."
"You're lying! Let me see it!"
He gave it to me and I looked at the cover. Cindy Crawford was there posing in a swim suit.
"You are obsessed!" I said laughing.
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are! If I tell Stacey about this she's not going to be to happy," I laughed.
"You wouldn't!?"
"Who knows? Maybe I will maybe I won't."
Tiffany smacked my arm, "Stop teasing him!"
She was laughing. I love her laugh! I keep telling you about her and how I love her but I can't help it! She's so perfect and I need to be with her.
"Yeah stop teasing me!" Howie said trying to grab the magazine. I gave it to him and turned to Tiffany, "So are you going to ski at all while we're up there?"
"Nope"
"Why not?"
"Because I don't know how."
"You don't!?"
"Nope and I don't plan on learning. It's to dangerous to me."
"It's not that dangerous."
"Yes it is! People get killed from skiing! Look what happened to Kevin that one time!"
"I wasn't skiing. I was snow boarding," Kevin corrected her.
"Whatever! They're the same to me."
"I can't convince you can I?"
"Nope!" she said smiling at me.
I wanted to grab her and kiss her but I knew I couldn't. All I know is that this is going to be a long 2 weeks.
