Brian's View
Nick and I just walked into a jewelry store and I'm now looking for a new engagement ring for Tiffany. I wanted to get a new one for her because I thought the old one was a little old. I want to get her a better one.
"Hello! Can I help you with anything?" a girl with blond hair walked up asking.
"HOLY SHIT!" Nick said.
"Mandy!? What the hell are you doing here?!" I yelled in shock.
"I work here! What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Getting an engagement ring for my girlfriend," I said.
"How sweet! I heard you and that Tiffany girl got together again! I even heard you got a daughter! Been busy huh Bri?" she asked snottily.
"Shut up!" I said.
"Hello Nick," she said.
"Yeah," he said.
"What are you doing here?"
"Getting a ring for my girlfriend," he said. I looked at him confused. He gave me a look that said 'just go along with it'. I nodded my head and turned back to Mandy.
"A girlfriend?" she asked snottily.
"Can you just leave us alone please?" I asked.
"Yeah whatever," she said walking away.
"I can't believe she works here!" Nick said.
"Just forget about it!" I said. I was looking at the engagement rings again.
"Excuse me? Can you get out this one?" I asked Mandy. I wanted to ask someone else but there was no one else.
"Which one?" she asked coming over.
"That one right there," I said pointing in the case at a ring that had a gold band with little red gems that shaped into a heart and in the middle was a heart shaped diamond. Tiffany's going to love it.
"Do you want an inscription on it?" she asked.
"Yeah um put 'I love you princess! Love your Baby Duck'."
"Is that all?" she asked looking at me weirdly.
"Yes, now will you please go put it on there?"
"Yes," she said. "Come back in a hour."
"Fine!" I said. God she makes me so angry!
"K let's go," I said.
"Wait!" Nick said. He was looking in one of the cases at a ring.
"What are you doing?"
"I want to get that ring for Darlene," Nick said pointing to a ring that had two gold dolphins on it. The eyes had blue gems. It's really pretty.
"Mandy get that out for me!" Nick said.
"Pushy aren't we?" she asked.
"Shut up and get it out for me!"
"OK!" she said. She got it out and asked, "What do you want on it?"
"Now the ocean is with you 4Eva, Love Nick."
"How corny," she said under her breath.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing," she said and walked away.
"K let's go! I don't want Tiffany to catch us in here," I said.
"K," Nick said and followed me.
I really hope Tiffany will say yes when I ask her to marry me. I have a good feeling that she will and I know for sure that she'll like the ring!
