Epilogue
Authors note- Hey people! I'm so so sorry it took me this long to pull out the epilogue…I won't give you any excuses (even though I DO have some) I'll just leave ya with the end of the story.
"You ready?" A soft, raspy voice whispered quietly into my ear.
"Yeah…" I sighed.
"You sure? We can stay here a little longer, they won't marry the groom without the bride." He cracked.
"I'm sure…I finally feel comfortable, marrying Nick is what mom and dad would have wanted." I said finally positive of what I wanted in my life.
"Okay, as long as your ready…" He looked at me, uncertainty coming from his eyes.
"Just give me a second to say goodbye, then I'll be ready." I said, he nodded and walked to the car.
"Mom…Dad…" I whispered swallowing the lump that had formed in my throat. "I'm gonna do it, I love him…I just need a sign that it's okay with you…" I said looking toward the sky, a rainbow appearing slowly through the heavens. I knew… "Thank you" I whispered before slowly backing off…it was time to get married.

"You look spectacular sweetie!" Leighanne complimented.
"Thanks." I said softly, a smile permanently fixated on my face.
"You really do honey." Amanda smiled.
"Thank you…now, I want to get MARRIED!" I screeched, smiling wider then ever.

"Ready princess?" AJ whispered into my ear.
"Yeah, lets do this." I said slowly reminding myself to breathe.
"Okay…" The doors of the beautiful church opened and I looked onto a waiting congregation…realizing then that I'd come out with a different name…. Carter.

"Congratulations" Aubrey whispered hugging me tightly. I looked over at my new husband greeting guests.
"Thank you…for everything." I said smiling at her.
"I love you, I'd do anything for ya teeny, really, ANYTHING, just ask." She smiled.
"I will." I said giving her a little squeeze before grabbing Nick's hand that in return squeezed mine lightly.

"Was it what you wanted?" Nick asked after we had gotten situated in the limo getting ready to take us to the airport to catch our flight to the honey moon destination of our choice courtesy of the rest of the Backstreet family.
"Exactly, it was perfect…I love you." I said moving my hand over his.
"I love you too…From this moment on." He said leaning in to give me a sweet kiss.
