Chapter 18
[seven weeks later, a week before christmas]
"Celine can you get me a shirt?" Kevin yelled from the bedroom
"Yeah what do you have to do today?" Celine asked
"Sing a christmas song on a tv show." Kevin said "Make sure my shirt is nice."
"Yes Kevin," Celine stated "it must be perfect."
"You've got that right," Kevin said hugging her "do you have classes today?"
"Yes," Celine said "my last final."
"Good Luck." Kevin said kissing her
"Thanks I'll need it." Celine said going to get his shirt
Celine came back with a light blue and dark blue sweater.
"Thanks Celine," Kevin said slipping it on "I love you forever and always good luck."
"Thanks bye bye see ya tonight." celine said heading out the door
Celine drove to campus and went to find some of the people she had become close to.
"Hey Celine," Becca shouted "did you hear the BSB are doing a christmas concert on Friday?"
"Um no," Celine said "Why?"
"Well I wanted to know if you wanna go?" Becca asked
"Well that was the day my boyfriend and I were supposed to spend time together but I mean I guess now I can do whatever." Celine said trying to not reveal one of the guys were her boyfriend
"Great I'll get tickets tomorrow for the concert?" Becca said
"Um Becca let me get them," Celine said knowing she could get them free "I promise after finals today I'll go get them."
"If you insist be my guest." Becca said "I gotta jet though okay?"
"yeah good luck." Celine said to Becca
"Why didn't I just tell her that I couldn't go and why hasn't Kevin mentioned this concert?" Celine thought
Celine finished her final and drove back home. She went inside and Brian was inside curled up in a ball.
"Brian why aren't yout at Bridgettes?" Celine asked sitting down next to him
"We broke up," Brian said as tears ran down the sides of his face "It wasn't meant to be."
"I'm so sorry Brian." Celine said hugging him
"It's okay," Brian said "I'm just gonna stay here till I fly to Lexington later this week."
"That's cool," Celine said "What's this about a concert Friday?"
"Oh yeah we have a christmas concert," Brian said "Didn't Kevin mention it to you?"
"Ha mention it," Celine said "We speak in passing right now."
"I'm sorry." Brian said
"No no it's nothing like that, it's just that I have finals a lot this week and I've barely been home." Celine said
"I understand," Brian said "Have you talked to Tes lately?"
"Actually no," Celine said "AJ was over yesterday and mentioned Tes was coming down for Christmas Day."
"You mean she's not going to your family?" Brian asked
"I guess not," Celine said "Kevin and I are going to MD for xmas."
"That's nice of him." Brian said "Well I'm gonna go into my room, thanks Celine."
"Welcome Brian." Celine smiled
Celine waited for Kevin to come home. It was 2 am and Kevin hadn't appeared home yet. Celine was getting worried. She went into Nick's Room and woke him up.
"Nick I'm worried Kevin isn't home yet." Celine said tapping him
"Go to sleep he'll come home." nick said moaning
"Nick I'm serious here." Celine said upset
Nick was out like a light and Celine went and tried to wake up AJ but he was still sleeping. So she went to try to wake Brian.
"Brian please wake up Kevin isn't home yet and it's passed 2 am." Celine said almost in tears
"Let me come out and sit with you." Brian said getting out of bed in his boxers
They walked out to the living room and sat on the sofa. 3 am came and no Kevin. When 4 am waltzed around a tired Kevin bounced in.
"Where the heck were you?"Celine yelled
"Why does it matter?" Kevin snapped
"Because I'm your girlfriend and I deserve to know where the heck you are at gosh knows what time of the night." Celine shouted
"You know what," Kevin yelled "you are getting pyschotic."
"No Just worried Kevin," Celine said starting to cry "I was worried sick."
"Sorry you can't trust me." Kevin said storming off to his room
Celine broke down in tears. Why did he come home so late. Brian sat there and hugged her.
"Celine come on don't cry." Brian pleaded
"Brian it hurts so bad make it go away." Celine begged
"I can't help it," Brian said "you have to talk to him in the morning."
"But I can't even go get my pillows and stuff." Celine said sniffiling
"I'll go get them but go to sleep." brian said covering her up
"Thanks Bri," Celine said "You're the best friend a girl could ever have and want."
Celine went to sleep and Brian came back with her pillows and some covers.
Hopefully everything would pass in the morning.
