Chapter 13
Brian's View
I just stood there in shock. NICK! Nick is going to
be a dad?
"Brian?"
"Wow," I said quietly.
"I know," Tiffany said walking over to the kitchen
table and sitting down.
"How far along is she?" I asked. I walked over and
sat next to her.
"She just found out today and she said a month," Tiffany
sighed.
"Wow, this is unbelievable," I said.
"I know! I mean Nick? I never thought...I
mean..."
"I know what you mean. I can't imagine him being a
father either," I said.
"Darlene wanted to talk about it so that's why we
left the beach so quickly. She's really scared Brian. She doesn't know what
Nick will do and she's just really scared about being pregnant."
"Well, what did you tell her?"
"I just told her that everything will turn out fine
and that she shouldn't do what I did. It would be the biggest mistake of
her life."
"It isn't like Nick to have sex so early into a
relationship," I said.
"We started to have sex early," Tiffany said.
"Not this early!"
"Almost," she said.
"Still it isn't like him," I sighed. "He's changed
so much."
"Everything will be all right," Tiffany said putting
her hand on mine. I looked at her a slightly smiled.
"I really hope so. Darlene deserves the best and so
does Nick and Nick better not do anything stupid."
"I don't think he will. He's mature enough to handle
really anything," she said getting up and sitting on my lap.
"You think? I don't know. He's still pretty immature
to me but then again I'm still immature too," I smiled. Tiffany just kissed
my lips and smiled.
"He can handle it," she said nodding her head.
"Hopefully"
"Well, if you say he can handle it then I guess he
can," I said. "But since we're on the subject of being pregnant, how are
you and our baby?"
"Doing pretty good," Tiffany said looking down at
her stomach. I smiled and rubbed her stomach gently.
"I can't believe my little son is growing right inside
you," I smiled.
"I can believe it. I've gone through this before,"
Tiffany said putting her hand on my hand which was still on her stomach.
"So you should be an expert now," I laughed.
"Not really. I think I'll be an expert on maybe our
third child."
"You want to have another child?"
"Yup I want um let me think 6 or 7 kids," Tiffany
said.
"JEEZ! We're going to be busy! I hope our bed doesn't
break," I laughed. She just laughed.
"Our bed won't break," she giggled.
"It could! I'm very energetic when it comes
to..."
"OK I GET YOUR POINT!" she laughed.
"Well you should know," I said.
"Yeah yeah yeah. You're not that good," she said.
My mouth dropped open in shock. She just smiled and got up and walked out
of the kitchen.
"HEY! That was really harsh you know!" I said getting
up. I walked to the stairs and climbed them. I walked to our room and found
Tiffany getting her pajamas out of the dresser.
"You really think I'm bad?" I asked sitting on the
bed. She turned around and nodded her head.
"Thanx," I mumbled. I laid back on the bed and looked
at the ceiling. Tiffany then crawled on my stomach with one leg on one side
of me and the other leg on the other side of me.
"Brian you really need to learn how to take a joke!
I was just kidding!" Tiffany said.
"You play to much," I pouted. She put out her bottom
lip and looked at me.
"Don't give me that look. You hurt my feelings. You
should be glad I'm even talking to you."
"You're talking to me because you love me," she
smiled.
"How do you know I love you?" I asked.
"Because I know you love me."
"Well I don't. I don't love you at all," I said with
a stern look.
"That's funny," she smiled.
"I'm serious Tiffany," I said.
"No you're not" she giggled.
"I am too. I'm so serious that I'm calling the wedding
off. I'm not marrying you," I said with a serious tone.
