Chapter 27
The Next Day
Colleen's View
JEEZ! Helping two pregnant woman around the house is
not easy especially when they complain about missing their boyfriends. Mary
is really nice. I really like her. Today this girl named Stacey came over.
I think she's Howie's girlfriend. Man this sucks. All the guys have girlfriends
except AJ which is great. He's my favorite. He's so sexy! I love him to death!
I can't wait to meet him.
"Colleen," Tiffany whined.
"What?" I whined back.
"Can you pleeeaasse give me the remote. I would get
it myself but I can barely move!" she said.
"I'll get it for you," Mary said. She picked up the
remote and changed the channel. She flipped it to MTV and then set down the
remote. We were all in the living room just lounging around and just talking.
I'm on one of the chairs, Darlene and Tiffany are on the couch and Mary and
Stacey are on the floor. Michelle was in Stacey's lap. Stacey was playing
with her hair.
"Man Michelle has sure grown up," I said.
"Yeah I know. Brian's sad. He doesn't want his little
girl to grow up."
"Don't bring up Brian. You'll get all depressed again,"
Darlene said.
"No I won't!" she said. Just then the phone rang.
"OH GET IT! GET IT!" Tiffany said excitedly.
"OK OK don't go into labor on us," Mary laughed going
over to the phone.
"Hello?"
"Your who?"
"Your baby?"
"Uh I think you got the wrong number. There is no one
here that is your baby."
"BRI! I'm just kidding! Hold on," Mary laughed. Tiffany
was waving her hands in the air motioning for Mary to give her the
phone.
"Impatient are we?" Mary laughed. She gave Tiffany
the phone and then sat back down on the floor.
"Hi baby duck!" Tiffany said happily. I looked at Darlene
and then to the other girls and mouthed 'baby duck?' They just laughed as
Tiffany stuck her tongue out at me. I stuck it back at her.
Tiffany's View
"Are you having fun?" I asked.
"Yeah but I miss you so much. I wish you were here," Brian said.
"I wish I were there with you," I said.
"OW! NICK! STOP IT!" Brian yelled at Nick.
"What is he doing?" I slightly laughed.
"He's hitting me to give him to phone. Hey I got to go. The other guys wanna
talk to their girls. I'll call you later. I love you baby," he said.
"I love you too bye," I said.
"Bye," he said and then I heard Nick come on.
"Hello?"
"Hey Nicky!"
"Hey Tiffy! How are you?"
"I'm good how are you doin?"
"I'm bored to death! We need you guys here!"
"Believe me we would be there if we could. Wanna talk to Darlene?"
"Yes please!" he said.
"OK hold on. Talk to ya later Nicky!" I said.
"OK bye Tiffy!" he said. Darlene was waiting for the phone to be handed to
her so I gave it to her.
Darlene's View
"Hello?"
"Hey baby," Nick said.
"Hey Nick," I said.
"Oh I miss you so much!"
"I miss you too. How are you doing?"
"I'm doing good but I should be asking how are
you?"
"Oh I'm good," I said resting my hand on my
stomach.
"And how's our baby?"
"Our baby is doing great," I smiled.
"That's good to hear. I'm sorry honey but I got to
go. The other guys wanna talk and we gotta leave soon for another concert,"
Nick said.
"Oh OK. I love you," I said.
"I love you too Bye," he said.
"Bye"

Somehow the phone ended up in my hand about 10 minutes
later. I had no clue who they were talking to so I don't know who's on it
now. I picked up the phone and looked at it.
"What am I supposed to say?" I whispered.
"Just talk in the freaking phone," Darlene said. I
sighed and put it up to my ear.
"Hello?"
"HEY WAZ UP!?" I heard AJ's voice on the other end.
My mouth dropped open. AJ! It's AJ! AJ McLean!
"UH Hi nothing much," I said smiling widely.
"You must be Colleen right?"
"Yeah that's me."
"Cool I heard a lot about you," he said.
"Really?"
"Yeah Tiffany told me that you were a prostitute from
New York City," he said.
"WHAT!?"
"NO NO! I'm just playin'!" he laughed.
"HAHA! FUNNY!" I said.
"Sorry I couldn't resist," he chuckled.
"It's OK," I said.
"AH MAN! I gotta go. I'll talk to you later. I want
to get to know you better."
"OK I'll talk to you later," I smiled.
"Later," he said.
"Bye," I said. I hung up the phone and smiled.
"Somebody has a crush!" Tiffany teased.
"Oh shut up! I'm so in love with him! He's so hot!"
I said. All the girls just laughed. AAHH! I just talked to AJ and he said
he wanted to get to know me better. Oh I'm in heaven. I can't wait to meet
him. I have a feeling that we're going to be great friends.
