Chapter 4
Jen woke up to the smell of Nick cooking breakfast. She walked into the kitchen to see him cooking eggs on the stove. While he was cooking, he talked to Jayson. Nick didn't aknowledge that Jen was standing there. He put the frying pan down then walked over to Jay's chair.
"I have a secret to tell ya, but you can't tell mommy!" He said chuckling to himself,"I think your mommys beautiful." He finished touching the tip of Jayson's nose, then walking back over to the stove and finished cooking. Jen was shocked but pretended she didn't hear anything.
"Morning...Nick! What are you doing?" She asked smiling and walking over to the stove to see what he was making.
"Cooking us breakfast. I was gonna suprise you but I guess it didn't work." He replied smiling his famous grin.
"Aww.. I could go back to sleep if you want and act surprise." She answered yawning. Nick just laughed to himself.
"Hey you!" Jen said playing with Jayson's belly. "THanks for making breakfast Nick."
"Oh no biggie." He replied. When the food was done, they ate together. Jen noticed that they kinda looked like a little family, and was wishing it was Nick who she had Jayson with, even though the little time she knew him.
"So what do you wanna do today?" Jen asked inbetween bites.
"I don't know, whats tehre to do?" Nick replied.
"I dont know, we could..... go to the beach, drive around and go out for lunch, we could go shopping,... what do you wanna do?"
"Lets go to the beach, if you don't mind going again. I love the beach, and I've never been here so I wanna see what it looks like." He suggested.
"Alright." They finished eating breakfast then Nick took a shower and got his suit on while Jen fed Jay. After Nick was done, he watched the baby while Jen went to put her suit on. After she was done, she changed Jayson's diapar (sp?) and put his little bathing suit over it.
"Ready?"
"Yea. Do you want me to drive?"
"Sure, if you'd like." She replied.
"Okay." After grabbing the bags they had packed with stuff for the beach, they walked out the door to Nick's Durango. "Here let me help you." Nick said taking the bags out of Jen's hand, then placing them in the back seat. She watched him then take Jayson's carseat and buckle it in before climbing in the front seat.
"Okay, you have to go through that toll thingy again." Jen said directing him. Once they were at the toll, Jen gave him a dollar and told him the rest of the way.
"Okay, just make a right here." She finished. THey parked the car and walked down to the beach. "Nick, aren't you afraid you're gonna get mobbed with fans or something?" Jen asked. "I mean, if they see you with me and Jay, they'll have a heartattach and thing you're married with a kid already!"
Nick laughed a little, liking the way that sounded, but with Jen and Jayson. "Don't worry about it." He said then turned and smiled at Jen.
They walked down the pathway that led to the sane. When they reached the sane, they took their shoes off and carried everything to a spot.
"Nick? Could you rub some oil on my back?" Jen asked.
"Sure." He took the bottle out of her hand and rubbed some tanning oil on her back. THen instant his strong hands rubbed up and down her back, she felt this warm feeling rush through her body.
"Thanks." She replied when Nick was done. Jen layed on the blanket and tanned while Nick played with Jayson.
They hung around the beach for a couple of hours, until they decided to head back to the apartment and take showers. Jen bathed Jay and put his jammied on, because she was planning on spending the night with Nick and taking him out to dinner. She had already called her grandmother and asked if she could watch Jayson.
"Nick, I'm gonna go take a shower. We're going out tonight just you and me." Jen said coming out of the nursert after putting Jayson down for a little nap.
"Alright hom. I'll be ready when you get out."
Jen walked into the bathroom and looking in the mirror. "Did he just call me hon?"She asked herself. She smiled to herself then turned on the shouwer and stepped in. "Oh my god. Everytime I see him I fall more and more in love with him!!!" She thought.
