Chapter 18
~The Next Morning~
"Lindsey I'm going home to Lexington" Jessica said "Actually I'm moving back."
"What!" Exclaimed Lindsey "I thought you were only going for a visit."
"I'm moving bac" Jessica said "I miss my brothers and sisters. There's Bobby who's 21 now, Sara who's now 19, the triplets Matt, Max, and Steve now 15, Julie who's now 11, and Melissa who was just a baby when I left she's 8. Besides my Mom needs me. She can also take better care of me."
"When you leaving?" Lindsey asked
"My plane leaves in about 1 hour" Jessica said. "I packed Brian, Tammy, and my stuff early this morning."
"They are stll sleeping" Lindsey said
"I'm gonna wake them up" Jessica said" The taxi will be here soon about 20 minutes. Tell Barry I will miss him. You will come and visit right."
"Of course hun" Lindsey said. Jessica went to go wake them but found them already awake playing in Brian's room.
"Hey guys" Jessica smiled. "How about we go visit Grandma, and your Aunts, Uncles, and maybe Daddy?" She had a hint of hope in her voice.
"Yeah!" Yelled Tammy and Brian. They been waitng to meet my family and Brian forever.
"Well put your shoe's and coats on" Jessica smiled. "We leave in a couple minutes. They ran around trying to find their shoe's and coats. They found them and got them on just as someone knocked on the door.
"Jess the cab is here" Lindsey yelled
"Coming" Jessica Yelled. She had a duffle bag and two back packs. The taxi driver took the bags put them in his trunk. Lindsey hugged each of them. The taxi driver helped Jessica in the taxi. Then Brian and Tammy climbed in. 20 minutes later they were at the airport. They had to wait another 20 minutes before they could board the plane. Once on the plane they settled in just as the plane was leaving. Three hours later they were in Lexington Kentucky.
"Why you so happy?" Nick asked Brian
"I saw Jessica" Brian said. "We talked some. She was really mad at me, but at the same time glad I was there. She's paralyzed, and I have two kids. Which I haven't seen yet"
"I knew where she was so did AJ" Nick said "Thats what we were gonna tell you after the tour."
"How long have you known" Brian asked. Mad everyone knew before he did.
"A couple weeks" Nick said "All we knew is what we saw on the news."
"Should have told me" Bran sighed "Well I'll see her in a few days I guess. She's going back home to Lexington."
"Thats cool" Nick smiled "Maybe she will forgive you."
"I hope so" Brian said. They talked until Kevin came in the room with Lindsey and her son Barry.
