Chapter 22
~2 days Later~
"Mommy" Barry cried as the airplane they were riding on landed. "Were are we?"
'"In Kentucky" Lindsey said smiling.
"So where to first?" Howie asked
"Brian's house" Kevin said "Since we are staying there" They got a cab and were on their way to Brian's parents house.
"So what you gonna say to Jessica?" Nick asked
"Don't know" Brian said "I guess talk to her and hope she will forgive me."
"Give her flowers" AJ said
"Won't work" Brian said "She's allergic to all kinds of flowers"
"Candy?" Nick said
"Could I?" Brian said "But I don't want to bribe her to forgive me"
"Jessica was at the mall with Tammy. Brian had gone with Bobby for the day. Jessica had gotten an apartment next door to her brother and sister. So she was buying a few things for the kids to do. "So Tammy what should we get?" Jessica asked. They were in a toy store.
"A nintendo 64" Tammy said "Brian and I want one of them"
"Ok"Jessica smiled "What game with it?"
"Mario cart" Tammy grinned. Jessica got an extra controller and a nintendo 64 off the shelf. Then an employee got Mario cart out of the locked shelf."
"Thats $209.89" The cashier said. She did a double take. Jessica is that you?"
"Yeah" Jessica said "Do I know you?"
"It's me Katie" She said. "We were best friends before you ran away."
"Oh My God" Jessica exclaimed I'm so sorry. You look so different."
"It's been seven years" Katie Said "So where you been? Why are you in a wheel chair? Who's little girl is that? Why did you run away?"
"Slow down" Jessica laughed "I can only answer one at a time. Ok the short version. I was in California. I was in a coma for a year after a accident that was only a little over a year ago. I was left paralyzed. The little girl is my daughter Tammy she has a twin brother name Brian. They are 6 years old. And yes they are Brian's kids."
"He misses you" Katie smiled
"So I heard" Jessica said. Katie handed Jessica the bag with the Nintendo stuff in it. "Come over to my house tonight. You can meet my step dad, and half siblings."
"How about tomorrow night" Katie said "I have plans."
"Ok"Jessica smiled Then Jessica and Tammy left for home.
