Chapter 32
~Later That Night~
"I hope she
really will be okay" Lindsey said. As she snuggled up with
Kevin.
"I'm sure
she really will be" Kevin said. "Jessica's a fighter. But
whats really weird is that she can walked again."
"It sure is" Lindsey laughed as the two feel asleep.
"I'm glad Jessica is okay" Nick said
"Yeah" AJ said "I can't believe she can walk again."
"None of us can" Howie said
"I wonder if Brian's gonna ask her to come with us" AJ said
"Nick is my Mommy alright?" Tammy asked
"Yeah sweetie
she is" Nick said
"Told you" Brian JR said. They all laid down to go to sleep.
~The Next Morning~
"Where did Brian go to so fast?" Kevin asked
"To see Jessica what else" Jackie grinned.
"Jess I'm back" Brian said coming in her room.
"Hey Bri" Jessica moaned while struggling to sit up.
"You okay?" Brian asked concerned.
"Just my side
hurts" Jessica said smiling. "Well actually my ribs. I
want to go home I hate hospitals so much."
"I know" Brian grinned "I remember when you got your tonsils taken out."
"I was up and about on the same day and talking to" Jessica said.
"Jess I know you'll probably say no" Brian said "But I have to ask."
"Whats that?" Jessica asked.
"Jess I know
I was stupid and young 7 years ago." Brian said "I messed
up big time."
"Brian I forgave you" Jessica said
"I know"
Brian said "I'll just come out and ask you." He looked at
Jessica for a long time before pulling out a ring. "Jess will you please
marry me?"
"I.........I......I...................I...don't........" Jessica said.
"Just say no" Brian said "Like I know you are gonna say."
Jessica looked
at Brian. His eyes that were always so shinny weren't
shinning at that moment. They were dull filled with sadness and hope.
"Yes Brian"
Jessica said "I would love to marry you." How could she say
no the the one and only man she would ever love.
