Chapter 1
"C'mon Lindsay, one more time and then we can shoot the dance scene." Wayne Isham said. Well, well, well, nice to see you all back here. I guess you need to know what's going on. As of right now I'm shooting the video to my new single called "Bring it on". It's a really cool song I wrote about this tough girl who never let's anyone get close to her. It's already been playing on the radio for a week or so and my c.d. will be available in stores in about two weeks. I am really excited. "Ready...and action!" Wayne yelled. The video just shows a girl waking up in the morning (me) and puts her walkman on. She hears my song and and walks downstairs to sit on the couch and watch t.v. She flips to MTV and hears my song on the t.v. and sees a bunch of people dancing like at a rave. Then she gets kinda pulled into the t.v. and becomes part of the video. It's pretty cool. Anyway, right now I'm just supposed to be singing my song while walking down the stair in pajamas. "And cut. Perfect, Lindsay. Get into wardrobe and then we'll start the dance scene." Yeah, yeah, yeah. I strolled into the room full of really awesome clothes. Angie, my stylist, picked out a pair of dark denim flood jeans and a dark green muscle tank with silver studs around the collar and around the sleeveless part.
~Twenty Minutes Later~
"C'mon Lindsay! You can do better than that!" I heard a familiar voice yell from off to the side. I was busy dancing to the music, but when I heard that voice I stopped in my tracks. I looked off to the side to see Nick and all the guys.
"Nick!" I yelled and ran towards the group. I hugged Nick tightly and he almost lifted me off the ground. They guys had been away in Germany for few weeks recording some new stuff before we went on tour in a week. I pulled away from Nick and we kissed deeply.
"Lindsay...Lindsay..." I opened my eyes and let go of Nick. "How come we get no loving?" Brian asked opening his arms so I could hug him. After greeting everyone, I got back to the dance scene of the video. The guys decided to stand there and watch. The scene was finished being shot in about five angles in fifteen minutes.
~One Week Later~
"Mom, I'll be fine. Don't worry and would you please calm down?" I asked hugging my mother again. "You know I'll be fine. The guys take good care of me." I said trying to get her to calm down.
"Just be good and no fooling around!" My mother said referring to Nick and I. She knew we were really close and we had been together for almost three months now. I rolled my eyes at her comment. "Just make me proud and...kick some ass!" she said. She smiled and I laughed. I said good-bye to everyone else and made my way towards the bus.
It was magnificent! I said 'hi' to Conrad, the bus driver, and glanced around the bus. There was a sitting area as soon as you got on the bus. Then there was a little kitchen kinda area and a bathroom across from that. The kitchen was only a fridge and some cabinets, though. Then there were some bunks and past that, I could see a little room with an entertainment system. I was walking past the bunks to make my way towards the back when I was suddenly pulled into a bunk by someone. I felt the hands around my waist and felt ring on someone's right hand. The hands were extremely soft and I knew they belonged to Nick. He kissed my cheek and I began to whine. First of all, we were in incredibly close quarters and I wanted to see the rest of the bus.
"Nick, I wanted to see the rest of the bus." I complained.
"You can see it in a second. I'm sorry, but I just wanted to see you." Nick said looking at me sadly.
"Ohok. You know whenever you make that face, I give in." He smiled and we kissed for a little while until we heard AJ whistling. Somehow he little curtain on the bunk had opened.
"Bone, leave them alone!" Howie yelled from the back of the bus. AJ left as Nick kissed me one last time. I pulled away from him.
"Enough, now. You know what we were told. No funny business." I said shaking my finger at him. "Just keep your hormones in check, OK?" Nick nodded and I left him. Kevin said that I would be sharing the bus with the guys since there were 6 bunks. Kevin told me I was left with a bunk on top. I climbed up into it with my carry-on bag and sat down. I opened up my book of songs and began writing. I was pretty much writing random thoughts when I was interrupted by Brian. He poked his head into the curtain.
"Linds? What ya up to?" He asked glancing at my book.
"Just writing some songs." I said looking up at him. He nodded towards my book.
"Do you mind?"
"Go ahead. I have a lot in there. I'm gonna listen to some music. You can look at it for a while." I said and handed him the book. Brian walked towards the entertainment room while I placed the headphones on my ears and listened to my 'Lit' c.d.
~Entertainment Area~
"Rok, what are you doing?" AJ asked sitting next to Brian on the sofa.
"Reading some music Lindsay wrote. It's mostly lyrics and stuff, but this is really good." Brian said. AJ read part of a song written down.
"Yo, do you think this is about Nick?" AJ asked. Brian read over the lyrics and looked up smiling widely.
