Chapter 27
Brian's View
"Brian what was that!?" Kevin said storming into the room.
I looked up at him and yelled, "SHE LEFT ME!"
"What!? Brian what are you talking about!? Where's Tiffany!?" he said rushing over to me. All the other guys came in after him wondering as to what was going on.
"SHE'S BACK IN COLORADO! SHE LEFT ME AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!"
"I can't believe this," Nick said reading the note.
"Give me that," AJ said snatching the letter from Nick's hands and reading it. His eyes got wider as he read on. He finished it and handed it to Howie.
"She said in the note that you were part of it and that you guys weren't careful. What is that supposed to mean?" AJ asked.
"How should I know!" I yelled getting off the floor. I picked up the basset hound and threw it in the trash. I then walked out of the room.
"Brian where are you going!" I heard Howie yell after me.
"For a walk!" I yelled back.
Nick's View
I sat on the floor in Brian's room trying to think why Tiffany left. I have no clue. They were so happy together. Something big must have happened if she said it was better for the both of them and that she probably wouldn't stay in touch with me. ME! Her best friend! We always talk to each other no matter what and if she's saying that she won't talk to me something really big had to happen. I don't know though. All I now is that Brian is going to be depressed probably for the rest of his life if he doesn't get Tiffany back.
"Nick do know anything that is happening considering Tiffany is your best friend besides Brian?" Kevin asked from across the room. I just shook my head.
"Are you positive? Nothing unusual has been happening to them?" Howie asked from the floor with the note in his hand.
"Well Tiffany did get drunk last night," I said.
"She was drunk! I never thought Tiffany would do something like that!" AJ said half smiling.
"Me neither. She has never drunken before in her entire life and then she has 16 beers."
"Something must have happened but Brian doesn't even know what happened. Why didn't she tell him what happened?" Kevin asked.
"Tiffany is someone who cares for people. She doesn't want to hurt them with words or physically unless she has to. I'm thinking what ever it is she's just trying to keep Brian from getting hurt."
"From what!? She can't do anything to him that could be way to major!" AJ yelled.
"I don't know! She didn't even tell me! I'm her best friend and in that letter she said that she might not keep in touch with me! Something has happened and it's serious or else Tiffany would not have done this!"
"Look if Tiffany left she must not have cared for him much," Howie said looking at the note.
"But it says in the note that she loves him Howie!" I said getting up and pointing out where she said 'I love you'.
"I know that but she could be lying!"
"May I remind you guys that this is Tiffany that we're talking about! She doesn't lie unless there's a good reason!" AJ said.
"Really! Tiffany wouldn't lie about something as serious as love!" I said.
"She could have changed! I mean she drank for the first time last night and she got drunk from 16 beers! 16! If you ask me she has changed ever since she has come on tour."
"He does have a point there Nick," Kevin said. AJ was just shaking his head.
"OH C'MON YOU GUYS! TIFFANY IS YOUR FRIEND AND YOU'RE TURNING AGAINST HER!"
"Nick calm down! We're just worried about Brian! Tiffany hurt him real bad and when I say bad I mean horrible. That's still an understatement! His heart was broken just a couple of minutes ago and all you can think about is Tiffany and what she's feeling! Get it through your head Nick! Tiffany is gone and Brian is here and he needs comfort! So give it to him and stop thinking about Tiffany cause I sure as hell am!" Kevin said standing up.
"Really Nick. Tiffany doesn't care for you, Brian or any of us. If she did she would have stayed and talked to us about it or asked for help as to what ever it is happening. She's gone and Brian needs help. Tiffany's just a girl who wanted to be with someone who had money. Brian gave her everything! Even his love! Tiffany realized that she had almost everything she wanted so she took off but that's just my opinion," Howie said.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?"
"Nick just forget about her! She's no good! You should be on Brian's side! My advice to you is that you should be a good friend to Brian and stop thinking about Tiffany! She's the past for me and should be for you! I know you love her and all but so does Brian and if I remember correctly after he broke up with Leighanne he said that he would never love again and guess what? He did! Now I know Brian is going to be single all his life! Tiffany left for no reason that we know of and she ruined his life! We are able to forget about her but he isn't! She's going to be on his mind for the rest of his life! Good or bad thoughts! He was going to propose to her for God's sake!"
I looked at AJ wide eyed. So did the other guys.
"Oops," he said.
"OOPS! Did you just say that Brian was going to propose to her!" I yelled standing up.
"Yeah"
"Oh god! I can't believe how Tiffany could be this stupid. She practically turned down a marriage proposal even before he asked," I said.
"Brian was going to propose to her?" Kevin asked quietly.
"Yeah"
"Wow! Brian really loves her," Howie said getting up off the floor.
"He sure does! Look maybe we should just go to bed and talk about this tomorrow. Brian might be back soon and he probably wants to be alone so we should leave," AJ said.
"Yeah, I'll talk to you guys later," Howie said walking out of the room down the hall to his room.
"I'll see ya later!" AJ said walking out as well.
Kevin walked towards me and put his hand on my shoulder, "Just forget about her."
I shook my head and said, "I'll try. Good night."
"Night," he said closing Brian's door behind us and walking to his room.
