Chapter 14
A Week and A Half Later
Tiffany's View
A week and half has passed and I spent most of it with Brian. Sara and I haven't been in anymore fights but we glare at each other a lot. Brian and I just got finished packing. We're leaving tomorrow and I'm sad about it. Brian has to go on tour in two weeks and he's going back to Florida the day after tomorrow. We've gotten really close again and I don't want him to leave. Oh well I'll see him when he comes back to Colorado for a concert.
I walked out of the bathroom with my shampoo and toothbrush and all my other bathroom accessories. I walked over to the bed and threw them in one of my bags. I zipped it up and sighed, "That's it for all my stuff. What about you?"
"I'm done. Did you pack all of Michelle things?" Brian asked setting down his suitcase.
"Yeah I did that before I packed my things."
"Are you hungry?" he asked looking at me.
"A little"
"What do you want for lunch? Nick and I are going into town to get
McDonald's."
"Um I guess a #2."
"OK and Michelle wants and cheeseburger Happy Meal?"
"Yep," I smiled.
"I'll see ya later then princess," he said coming over to me and giving me a kiss on the lips. He smiled at me and then went out the door.
I sighed and looked around the room to see if I missed anything. Nope it looks like I have everything. I then remembered that I forgot to pack Michelle's toys so I walked out of the room and went to Nick and Michelle's room. I went in and found that it was actually clean. I went over to one of the beds and picked up her bag and put all her toys in it. I got up and went back to my room. I threw the bag down and decided to go downstairs.
"Hey Kevvy!" I said sitting next to Kevin who was writing on a piece of paper.
"Hey," he said not taking his eyes off the paper.
"What are you doing?"
He looked at me and said, "I'm writing a song for Mary. Maybe she'll forgive me once she reads it."
"That's so sweet!" I gushed.
"Yeah and hopefully she won't tear it up."
"She won't I promise. She's my friend and she's been a total wreck. I bet you just have to say sorry and give her a big kiss and everything will be OK."
"You think that's all I really need to do?"
"Yep and I should know because that's what she said you really had to do."
"So I don't need to right her this song."
"Not really but I bet she'll love you even more for it so keep writing," I said patting his leg.
"Thanks Tiff," he smiled at me.
"No problem," I smiled back and got up. I headed over to the kitchen to find Howie and AJ playing a card game at the kitchen table. I sat down next to AJ and said, "What cha guys doing?"
"Playing speed," AJ said putting down his cards as fast as he could.
"Cool so who's winning?"
"SPEED! Yes I won!" Howie said happily putting his hands in the air.
"I guess Howie did," I laughed.
"Dammit! That's the fourth time you won! Are you cheating or something!?" AJ yelled frustrated.
"Nope! I'm just way better than you!" Howie laughed.
"Yeah AJ he's just better than you," I teased.
"You think you could better then me with that fine ass of yours?" he asked looking at me slyly.
"Yep! I'm the queen at playing speed. No one can beat me."
"Oh really then let's see," he said picking up the cards.
"OK get ready to lose McLean," I said getting up and sitting in Howie's seat. He shuffled the cards and set the game up. I took my five cards and looked at them. They were an Ace, 2,3,and then a 5 and a 6. I smiled.
"Ready?"
"Yep," I said setting my hand on one of the cards on the table ready to flip it.
"Go!" he said flipping over his card. The game went on and I put down my last card.
"Speed! Ha I told you I would win!"
"2 out of 3!"
"Whatever you say," I smiled.
1 Hour Later
Brian's View
I walked into the cabin with a bag of food in each hand. Nick was right behind me. I looked around and found that no one was in sight I then heard, "I won again! Yes!"
I walked over to the kitchen curious as to what was going on. Everyone was around the kitchen table. I pushed passed Amanda and Mary and looked at the table. Tiffany was smiling at a very frustrated AJ.
"Pay up McLean!" Tiffany said smiling.
"C'mon you cheated!"
"I did not now pay up!"
"One more game!"
"No we already played 10 games!"
"Fine!" he said reaching in his pocket to pull out his wallet. He pulled out 60 bucks and handed it to Tiffany.
"Thank you," she said putting the money in her pocket.
"What were you guys playing?" I asked sitting next to Tiffany. Everyone else went into the living room to get their food.
"Speed," she said smiling at me.
"I love that game."
"So do I," she laughed.
"So when did you start betting money?"
"Around the sixth game."
"So how much did you win?"
"60 bucks"
"That's my girl," I smiled.
"So where's the food?"
"Right here," I said setting the bag on the table. She grabbed it and rummaged through it until she pulled out two hamburgers and fries.
"Hungry?"
"Yep all that winning made me real hungry."
I just laughed.
"Food?" Michelle asked coming into the kitchen.
"Yep!" I said picking her up. I set her in her high chair and opened up her Happy Meal box.
"What do you want to eat first?"
"Fries!"
"OK angel," I smiled getting the fries out.
"Where's all the fires!" AJ shrieked from the living room.
"They're in here," I yelled.
"Thank God!" AJ said running into the kitchen and grabbing the bag.
"Hold it! I need my lunch," I said taking the bag from him. I took my meal out and gave it back to him.
I fed Michelle and then set her down. I sat back down in my seat and grabbed my Big Mac. I was about to take a bite when I saw Tiffany smiling at me. I put down my hamburger and asked, "What?"
She got up and kissed me on the lips.
"What was that for?"
"For being such a sweet father."
"I've been feeding her for the past five days and now I get rewarded form it?"
"I guess so," she smiled.
"Well reward me more often OK?"
"OK," she laughed.
I ate my lunch and Tiffany and I went into the living room with everyone else. I sat down on the couch and Tiffany sat next to me. I put my arm around her and kissed the top of her head.
"Are you sure we have to leave tomorrow?" Nick asked holding Michelle in his arms.
"Yep," Howie said taking a sip of his drink.
"Are you sure because I'm going to miss Michelle to much," Nick said.
"We have to leave. I would stay too but we can't," Kevin said.
Tiffany then got up and walked up the stairs.
"Baby where are you going?" I asked looking at her.
She didn't say anything she just kept walking.
"What was that about?" AJ asked.
"I don't know," I said getting up and going up the stairs to our room. I walked in our room and found Tiffany on the bed with her legs pulled to her chest. Her head was resting on her knees and she was looking out the window.
"Baby what's wrong?" I asked sitting next to her on the bed. She looked at me with tears streaming down her face.
"Don't cry," I said wrapping her in a hug. "Tell me what's wrong."
"I don't want you to leave."
"That's why you're so upset?"
"Yes, I don't want you to leave me. We just got back together and now your going to leave."
I kissed her forehead, "I'm not going to leave you."
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is than I want you to come on tour with us."
"You do?"
"Of course I do! I talked to my managers and they said it was OK if you came along and I just don't want you to come on tour with us. I want you and Michelle to move in with me in Florida."
"You mean you want us to come live with you in Florida?"
"Yeah so we'll be together always."
"I don't know about that Brian. I mean Michelle would miss my mom and dad and my brothers and sisters. She just got a friend that moved in next door and I don't want o separate them."
"You can come visit them when ever you want. I'm not saying you can't see your family. I'm just saying that I want you to move in with me and when ever you want to go back to Colorado for a visit I'll pay for all of us to go."
"Promise?"
"I promise. So will you?"
"Yeah," she smiled.
"Thank you," I said wiping away her tears with my thumb.
She just smiled back at me.
"I love you," I said hugging her.
"I love you too," she said hugging me back. "Do the guys know that I'm coming?"
"Yeah they knew you would say yes."
"So you planned this?"
"Yep!"
"You hide to many things from me."
"No I don't! That's the only thing that I was keeping from you. I was going to ask you to move in with me tonight when we went to bed but then I saw how upset you were so I couldn't wait any longer."
"I'm glad you didn't."
"I'm glad I didn't either."
"Bri?"
"What baby?"
"I heard that Sara's living with you. Is that true?"
"Um yeah but since I broke up with her she's gonna have to move out."
"That's good," she sighed.
"You feel better know?'
"Yep!" she smiled.
"Great then let's go back downstairs. The guys are worried about you."
"OK," she said getting up. I got up and took her hand and led her downstairs. I was so relieved that she said yes. I don't know what I would have done if she said no. I probably would have died but since she said yes I'm happier then anyone in the world.
