Chapter 15
Brian's View
I woke up and looked down to find Tiffany sleeping on my bare chest. I smiled and shook her lightly. She moaned and said, "Just a couple more minutes."
"C'mon princess. We have to leave soon."
"I don't want to," she said softly.
"C'mon"
She sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes. I got out of bed and went over to the chair that had my cloths on it for the day. I took them out last night so I wouldn't have to open up my suitcases again. Tiffany did the same. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and got dressed. I came out of the bathroom to find Tiffany laying down with her eyes closed. I know how to get her out of bed. I ran and jumped on the bed. I jumped up and down waiting for Tiffany to open her eyes.
"Stop!" she groaned.
"Get up!" I yelled stopping.
She opened her eyes and looked at me, "Fine."
She got out of bed and headed to the bathroom picking up her cloths on the way. She came back out 20 minutes later all dressed.
"Finally," I said turning to her from the TV.
She just stuck out her tongue.
"Jeez you're grumpy this morning," I laughed.
"It's 8:30!"
"Sorry," I laughed.
"Are we like the only ones awake," she said sitting next to me.
"No Nick stopped by when you were in the bathroom. He said he dressed and already fed Michelle. Everyone is awake so don't think we're the only ones."
"Why do we have to leave so early?"
"I don't know you're gonna have to ask Kevin about that."
She sighed and got up.
"So when are we leaving?"
"At 10," I said getting up as well.
"OK," she said picking up some of her bags and walking out the door. I wonder what her problem is?
I walked over to my bags and picked them up. I also picked up the rest of Tiffany's bags. I walked out of the room and down the stairs. Everyone was in the living room. Bags were all over the place. I set down the bags and went over to the couch. Tiffany was there with Michelle in her arms.
"Can I hold her?" I asked.
"Yeah," Tiffany said giving Michelle to me.
"Hi angel!"
"Hi daddy!"
"Hey Rok?" Nick said.
"What?" I asked looking up at him.
"So what did Tiffany say about her moving in with you?"
Everyone looked at me.
"Yes," I smiled.
"YES!" Nick cheered.
"It's nice to know you want me around," Tiffany smiled.
"Why wouldn't we? You're our best girl friend," AJ said smiling at Tiffany.
Tiffany just smiled.
"Look we better go," Kevin said getting up.
"Why? It's not 10 yet," I said bouncing Michelle on my knee.
"It's starting to snow and I don't know if it will get worse so better safe than sorry."
"He's right," Howie said getting up.
"OK let's go," I said getting up and putting Michelle down. Everyone got up and went to get their bags. Kevin went outside to warm up the cars before we go. I picked up my bags and headed out to the expedition. I put my bags in the back and turned around to find Tiffany with her bags.
"Here let me help you," I said taking a couple of her bags.
"Thanks," she said putting the rest in the back.
"Is that everything?" I asked her.
"No I still have Michelle's bags."
"OK why don't you strap in Michelle and I'll go get her bags."
"OK," she said walking over to Michelle and Nick. I went into the cabin and got her bags. I turned around to come face to face with Sara.
"Get out of my way," I said angrily.
"So that bitch Tiffany is moving in with us?"
"Not us, me. You're moving out and she's moving in."
"I don't think so."
"I think so. It's my house and I don't want you in it."
"You have no right to kick me out."
"I have every right to!"
"Where am I supposed to go!?"
"How should I know! All I know is that you're not staying at my house! My family is!"
"What if I pay you rent?"
"No! I don't want you near me, Tiffany or Michelle."
"I can't believe this!" she yelled walking out of the cabin. I sighed and walked out to the expedition. I put Michelle's bags in the back and closed the door. Everyone else put their bags in there already. This is how the sitting arrangement will go. Nick, AJ, and Michelle will be in the back, Tiffany and me will be in the middle, Kevin will be driving and Howie will be in the passenger's seat. The rest of the girls will go in the car they came in.
I got in the expedition and sat next to Tiffany. We were waiting for Kevin to lock up the cabin. He locked the door and came over to the car and got in.
"Does everyone have everything?" he asked looking at all of us.
"Yes," everyone said.
"OK then," he said starting up the car. He pulled out of the driveway and drove slowly to the bottom of the hill. The girls were following us. He stopped and then turned left. We finally were heading back to civilization.
"Now can we have music?" Nick asked.
"Fine," Kevin sighed turning on the radio. A new Britany Spear's song was playing. Everyone groaned.
"Turn the channel!" AJ yelled form behind us.
"Yeah," everyone else agreed.
Kevin turned the station until he heard a song from Korn.
"How about this?"
"That's fine," Tiffany said.
"So Tiffany are you excited about moving in with Brian?"
"Yeah I guess so. I've always wanted to take Michelle to Disney World so now I get to."
"That's why you want to move in with me?" I asked sadly.
"No! I'm moving in with you because I love you," she said holding my hand.
"How sweet," AJ said.
"Anyway it looks like Michelle really likes you Nick," Tiffany said looking at Nick.
"Yep because we spent a lot of time together and now we're married."
"What?" I asked looking at him weirdly.
"We're married," Nick laughed.
"And how did this happen?" Tiffany asked.
"One night we were playing and she wanted to play getting married so we did."
"And I didn't even say you can have my daughter's hand in marriage," I said looking at him.
Everyone just laughed.
"She seems to be having fun with it," Nick said looking at the sleeping Michelle.
"Yeah but if you break her heart I will kick your ass," I said to Nick smiling.
"Fine with me," he laughed.
3 Hours Later
Tiffany's View
"Finally we made it!" Kevin said parking in my driveway.
"It's a good thing that we went when we did. The storms getting worse," Brian said.
"Yeah it is. Maybe you should stay here tonight. The hotel is kind of far from here and knowing from experience you shouldn't drive there in this type of weather."
"It's OK with you?"
"It's fine! I wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't."
"OK," Kevin said.
"Are you sure you want Sara to stay here?" Brian whispered in my ear.
"I can't just leave her out in the snow. Even though I want to but that would be way to harsh."
"It's up to you," he smiled at me.
"It's fine, now get out of my way. I have to open the door for you guys," I said scooting closer to Brian.
Brian lifted his feet and put them on the seat. I walked, hunched over, to the door and opened it. Cold wind hit my face. I jumped out and ran to the front door. I opened it and walked in. I looked back at the car and motioned for them to come in. Brian jumped out of the car and I went further into the house. I took my jacket off and threw it on the couch. I went over to the wall and flipped the light switch on and turned the heat on. Everyone came in after that. Michelle was in Brian's arms.
"Nice house," Amanda said looking around.
"Thanks," I said.
Brian put Michelle down and she ran up the stairs.
"Where is she going?" Brian asked taking off his coat.
"Probably to her room."
"Oh," he said sitting on the couch.
"Who's going to get the bags?" Mary asked.
"All the bags?" I asked.
"Not all of them just some of them," Mary said.
"I will," Kevin volunteered.
"We'll all go with you," AJ said.
"I'm not going back out there," Sara said shaking her head.
"No not you! The guys are going outside," Stacey said rolling her eyes.
"I knew that," she growled.
All the guys got up and went outside. They came back in a couple of minutes later with bags in their hands.
"Thank you," I said taking my all my bags from Brian.
"No problem," he smiled at me. Brian then went back outside and came back in with all his bags.
"So where are we going to sleep?" Howie asked me.
"Um you can chose what rooms you want."
Everyone headed up stairs and Brian leaned down and whispered, "Where am I going to sleep?"
"On the couch," I smiled.
"That's not fair!"
"I'm just kidding. If you want you can sleep in my room."
"That sounds good to me," he smiled.
"OK," I said going to the couch and sitting down. Brian followed.
"Bri?"
"What?"
"Um how are we going to get Michelle's stuff down to Florida?"
"Ordering a moving truck of course," he said rolling his eyes.
"I know that but I'm not going to be here when they come so they can't load her stuff up."
"I got that all figured out. Everyone else are going home tomorrow but I'm gonna stay and help you pack your things. That reminds me are you going to sell your house?"
"I called my brother and he said that he wanted to buy it from me. I know you have furniture and all that already so I said he could buy the furniture too. He agreed so that's all set."
"That's great!" he smiled at me.
"Yep!"
For the rest of the day we hung around the house and just talked. I can't wait to get down to Florida. Michelle will be much happier I think. I know I'm going to be happier. I mean Brian is finally back in my life and I know he's going to stay in it forever. Hopefully.
