Chapter 16

3 Days Later

Brian's View

Tiffany, Michelle and I just got off the plane and we're in Orlando. The moving trucks should be here tomorrow or the next day. We're not sure.

"It's so humid here," Tiffany mumbled with Michelle in her arms.

"You'll get used to it," I smiled.

"Hopefully," she sighed.

We got our bags, went outside, and I hailed a cab. 30 minutes later we arrived at my house. We got out of the car and the cab driver popped the trunk. I got all our bags and paid the guy. He drove off and I looked at Tiffany. She had put Michelle down and she was looking at the house in awe.

"You like it?" I whispered in her ear. She looked at me and smiled.

"I love it. It's huge though," she said looking back at the house.

"Yeah I bought this for myself a year after you left me. I bought it because I was hoping you would come back and we could start a family."

She smiled at me but then said, "But why did Sara live here then?"

"Because she insisted and she just moved in. I didn't invite her or anything."

"Oh," she said looking at the ground.

"Come on," I said picking up some of the bags and walking up the lawn to the front door. I set down the bags and opened the door. I picked up the bags again and walked in. Tiffany was right behind me. She dropped her bags next to the others and walked in further with her mouth open.

"Wow!" she exclaimed. "This place is huge!"

"Yeah I kind of want a big family," I smiled.

She looked at me and laughed, "I guess you do."

"Want to see where you will be sleeping?"

"Sure!" she said still looking around.

"OK, C'mon," I said taking her hand and leading her up the stairs. Michelle was walking behind us. I walked down the large hall and stopped at my door. I opened and walked in.

"Woah!" Tiffany said walking into the room.

Tiffany's View

This is so amazing! I can't describe it! It's just so beautiful! I'm gonna try to explain this to you. When you walk in the whole room is illuminated from the sun. The carpet in a white creamy color and right in front of you there are huge glass doors that look out upon the ocean. They're open and the white silk curtains are moving from the light breeze. Behind the doors is a huge balcony. To the right of the doors there is a huge king size bed with white sheets and tons of pillows. To the right of the bed there is a large walk in closet. To the left side of the doors and right across from the bed an entertainment center is found. In the middle there's a big screen TV, to the right of that there's a stereo, and on the top shelf there's two speakers. To the left of the TV there's CD's and movies and finally to the left of the entertainment center there's the bathroom.

"Brian this is beautiful!" I exclaimed.

"I knew you would like it," he said smiling at me.

"Does Michelle's room look like this?" I asked going over to the bed.

"Kind of but it's not as big," he said coming over to me.

"I'm glad I said yes about moving in with you," I laughed.

"I'm glad you did too."

Just then the doorbell rang.

Michelle ran out of the room and down the stairs.

"Michelle is so funny," Brian said laughing.

"Yeah she is," I laughed getting up.

"AHHH!" I heard Michelle scream.

"Michelle!" I screamed running out of the room. Brian ran right behind me. I reached the bottom of the stairs and saw Michelle hiding behind a creamy white leather chair in the living room.

"Baby what's wrong?" I asked going to her and picking her up.

She pointed towards the door. Brian and I looked and right before us was Sara.

"Your daughter needs to chill and what are you doing in my house!"

"It's not your house!" Brian yelled.

"It's our house!"

"No it's mine and Tiffany's house!"

"Brian I thought…" I said looking at him shocked.

"I bought this for us so it's both of ours," he said softly.

"You're lying Brian!" Sara yelled.

"I am not and I thought I kicked you out?!" he yelled turning his attention back to Sara.

"No you didn't!"

"Yes I did! Now I want you to pack up you stuff and get the hell out of my house!"

"Brian!" I said.

"Oh I'm sorry," he apologized to me.

"Fine but this is not going to be the last time you see me! You're going to regret this day!" Sara screamed running up the stairs. I exchanged glances with Brian. She came back down 20 minutes later with bags in her hands and stomped out the door slamming it behind her.

"What did she mean by that?" Tiffany asked me.

"I don't know," I said softly looking at the door. "I don't know."
