Chapter 17
The Next Day
Brian's View
"Hey princess," I said kissing Tiffany on the forehead and then sitting down next to her on the couch in the living room.
"Hey!" she smiled at me.
"So are you ready to go on tour?"
"Yeah! I actually can't wait!"
"You can't?"
"Nope! I had so much fun the last time I went on tour with you guys."
"Does Michelle know we're going?"
"Yeah, I told her last night."
"Hi daddy!" Michelle said coming into the room and crawling up on the couch.
"Hey angel!" I said picking her up and putting her on my lap.
"Do you like your new room?" I asked.
"Yeah! It's very pretty!"
"I'm glad you like it angel," I smiled.
"So what are we going to do today?" Tiffany asked looking at the TV.
"Nick called and said he wanted to come over, so that means AJ probably wants to come over too."
"Do they live together or something?"
"No, AJ just doesn't want to be alone with the boring Backstreet Boys."
"If you're talking about Howie and Kevin, they are not boring! They just don't like to do a lot of things!"
"They're boring," I laughed.
"Think what you want," she sighed.
"Waz up!?" we heard from the front door.
"We're in here!" I yelled.
"Hey people!" AJ said coming into the room and sitting on one of the chairs. Nick followed and sat in another chair.
"Hey!" Tiffany smiled.
"Hi!" Nick said smiling at Tiffany.
"Where's Amanda?" Tiffany asked AJ.
"She didn't feel like coming here so she's staying home."
"OK"
"So what are we going to do?" Nick asked.
"I want to go to the beach," Tiffany said looking at me.
"Then the beach it is!" I said getting up.
"Fine with me!" Nick said getting up as well.
"I need to get my bathing suit on first," Tiffany said walking around the couch.
"I do too," I said carrying Michelle around the couch to where Tiffany was standing.
"So do we. We'll be back in like 10 minutes," AJ said getting up and leaving the room. Nick followed AJ.
"We'll meet you down there OK?" I asked after them.
"OK!" Nick said before he closed the door.
Tiffany took Michelle out of my arms and walked up the stairs. I followed right behind her. When we got to our room Tiffany set Michelle down.
"Go get your bathing suit," she said.
"OK!" Michelle smiled running out of our room and to hers.
I got my bathing suit out and went to the bathroom. I came back out to find Tiffany putting Michelle's bathing suit on. It's one piece and it's pink with different color flowers all over it. She set Michelle down and looked up at me.
"You can change now," I said going over to the closet and getting a duffel bag out. It's for extra cloths, towels, etc.
"K," she said heading to the bathroom. She came back out 8 minutes later with blue jean shorts and a white tank top on. I'm guessing her bikini is underneath her tank top and shorts.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah," she said walking over to the bed. "Did you put sun block and everything in the bag?"
"Yep!"
"OK, we can go," she said picking up Michelle and walking out of the room.
I picked up the bag and followed her out the front door.
Meanwhile
Nick's View
I've been sitting here with AJ waiting on the two lovebirds and their child.
"Where are they?" I asked looking at AJ.
"Maybe they couldn't wait until tonight so they decided to…"
"Shut up Bone!" I said cutting him off.
"Jeez! What's up your ass?!"
"Nothing," I sighed.
"You still love her don't you?"
"How could I not?" I asked looking at him.
"Man you need to move on. Tiffany and Brian are most likely going to get married and spend the rest of their lives together and you need to accept the fact that Tiffany doesn't love you back."
"I do accept the fact that she doesn't love me back!"
"I'm just saying that you two are not meant for each other."
"AJ I can't help it! I try to forget about her but I can't! She's all I ever think about! I don't even look at other girls! I mean I've been on a few dates but those are the only ones that you fixed me up with! You have no idea how much I want to move on but I can't! I try but I just can't!" I said putting my head in my hands.
"I don't know what to tell you Nick," AJ said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"I just can't see how I can love someone so much and they don't love me back," I mumbled.
"Love hurts," AJ said.
"It sure does," I said softly.
"If it would make you feel better I think Tiffany's hot."
"How in the hell is that supposed to make me feel better!?" I yelled looking at him.
"I was in the same position that you're in for a while! I mean I wanted to date Tiffany and I was really disappointed when her and Brian started going out!"
"I'm going to say it again. How in the hell is that supposed to make me feel better!?"
"I don't know! I just needed to get that off my chest."
"AJ! You're suppose to be helping me!"
"I don't know what to tell you! I've never seen this happen before! This is a first for me and I don't know what to do!"
"I just…" I sighed. "It hurts to see her with Brian. I love her so much."
"I know buddy. I know," AJ said patting my back.
"Hey guys!" I heard a voice to the right of me. I looked up to see Tiffany smiling at me with Michelle in her arms.
"Oh hey!" I smiled back.
Brian dropped the duffel bag that he had on is shoulder and said, "Hi!"
"Hey!" AJ said smiling.
Tiffany put Michelle down and then sat down on the sand. Michelle then sat in her lap. Brian took off his shirt and sat down too. He opened the duffel bag and pulled out some towels. He handed one to Tiffany and then laid his towel out.
"So what were you guys talking about?" Tiffany asked setting her towel up.
"Nothing!" I said right away. I knew AJ would want to say what we were actually talking about so I gave him a look.
"Yeah nothing really," he agreed nodding his head.
Tiffany took Michelle's T-shirt off and put it in the bag.
"You're the only one with clothes on Tiffany," AJ said.
She looked down at herself and looked back up at him, "So?"
"C'mon girl! Take it off!"
"AJ!" Brian yelled giving him a dirty look.
"I didn't mean it like that!" AJ laughed.
"Well you made it sound like that!" Tiffany laughed as well. She stood up and took her shorts off and then her shirt. Cleavage alert! Cleavage alert! Don't stare Nick! Just look away!
"Bri?" Tiffany asked looking through the bag.
"Yeah baby?" he said looking up.
"Where's the sun block? Michelle needs it," she asked looking through the bag some more.
"It's in the front," he said burying his feet in the sand.
"Oh," she said pulling it out. She put the sun block on Michelle and then put a little on herself.
"Do any of you need this?" she asked closing the lid.
"No I already put some on," I said.
"Me neither," AJ said.
"I need it," Brian said taking it.
"So who's going in the water first?" Tiffany asked looking at all of us.
"I have an idea as to who's going in first," Brian said closing the lid.
"Who?" Tiffany asked looking at Brian who was getting up.
"Um I think it's going to be…" he said but then picked Tiffany up and ran towards the water.
"No! Brian! Nick help me!" Tiffany screamed.
Brian's View
I ran into the water with a screaming Tiffany in my arms.
"Brian do not drop me!" Tiffany yelled holding on to my neck for dear life.
"It's not that cold!" I laughed.
"You're lying!" she laughed.
"No I'm not! Here let me show you," I laughed dropping her into the water.
"Brian! I can't believe you did that!" Tiffany sputtered. She's on her butt in the water and she looks so funny!
"Well it's not cold is it?" I laughed.
"No but I still can't believe you!" she said getting up and hitting me in the arm.
"Ow!" I said holding my arm.
"Aww! Poor baby," she said holding out her arms for a hug. I was about to hug her when she pushed me and I fell back into the water.
"You're mean!" I laughed trying to get up.
"You're meaner," she laughed as well.
"AGH!" we both heard from the right of us. We turned our heads and found AJ charging at us.
"What is he doing?" Tiffany asked.
"I have no clue," I said.
AJ ran into the water and plowed into me, causing me to fall back into the water.
"Why did you do that!?" I yelled trying to get up.
"Michelle told me to," AJ laughed trying to get up as well.
"She did?" I asked.
"Yep!" he laughed. I heard laughing behind me so I turned around and saw Tiffany giggling.
"It's not funny! How would you like it if your daughter tortures you!" I yelled walking out of the water. I was trying to act mad so she would feel sorry for me.
"Sweetie! C'mon, she's only 2 and a half years old!" Tiffany yelled after me.
"She's evil I tell you! EVIL!" I said still walking.
I just heard Tiffany laugh more along with AJ. I walked up to Nick and Michelle and said in a playful manner, "Prepare to die!"
"Hi Daddy!" Michelle giggled running behind Nick.
"Hiding behind that huge building can't save you!" I said running after her.
"Building! I'm not a building!" Nick yelled right when I picked up Michelle and spun her around.
"Then what are you?" I asked holding a giggling Michelle.
"I'm a…" Nick started to say but then stopped.
"You're a what?"
"I…" he sighed. "Um yeah I know! I'm superman!"
"Superman!? What's wrong with you?" I laughed putting Michelle down. She ran off to where Tiffany and AJ were goofing off. I then sat down next to him.
"Hey I got all the qualities. I'm cute, I'm strong…"
"Hold up! You're not cute, you're not that strong, you can't fly, and you…"
"OK! I'm not superman," he said.
"Very good,"
"I'm actually Spiderman!"
"Nick you eat way to much candy," I laughed.
"Yep!"
"Put my mommy down!" I heard Michelle scream from the water. Nick and I both looked up. Tiffany was hanging off of AJ's shoulder and Michelle was at the edge of the water screaming at him.
"Fine by me!" AJ laughed dropping Tiffany into the water.
"You know, If I could pick you up I would do the same to you!" Tiffany sputtered trying to get up.
"Sure!" AJ laughed.
"Yep! So instead of picking you up I'm going to…" Tiffany said but stopped while jumping on AJ causing him to fall in the water.
I started to laugh along with Nick. That's my girl!
