Chapter 6
1 month later
Nick's POV-
"Here you go Mr. Carter, whoever the lovely young lady you're giving this to is extremely lucky." Said the sales lady.
"Thank you." I looked at the tiny package in my hand, my anniversary gift to my baby, she's gonna love it I kept thinking. My task for the next 2 months is to get up enough courage to give it to her, I mean, I know I want to do it, I'm just really nervous. I know exactly where I'll give it to her too, I have every single detail mapped out…I just have to get it all set up.
My POV-
"Okay guys, Ms. Alissa isn't here today, it's just me, and I brought some play dough!" The head teacher was out sick for the day and they asked me to sub, I completely fell head over heals for the idea, in just the short time I'd been with these kids I'd fallen in love with them.
"Yeah! OOOHH! AHHH!!! Play dough, play dough!" came the responses I had been wanting to hear ever since last night when I made the play dough. I pulled the yellow gunk out of the plastic baggie and divided it into small sections, sat back and watched them enjoy it.
I laughed as I remembered how terribly out of control the whole situation had gotten after that. I have play dough caked all over my clothes, and in my hair. When I got back home I went and took a bath. I was almost asleep when the shrill ringing of the phone woke me…let the machine get it I kept telling myself.
"Hey this is Nick, you know the drill, name, number, I'll get back to you as soon as possible…beep…"
I heard Nick chuckle on the other end of the machine, "Hey sweetie, you know we're really gonna have to get that changed once we…never mind…." He said all to quickly. "Anyway, I know you're there, pick up the phone…plllleeeeaaasseee??"
"Hey you!" I said picking up the phone.
"Hey…I called to sing to you…" He said in a sing song voice.
"Good…sing, now, before I fall asleep and have nightmares because you didn't."
"Okay, I picked a really good song this time" and then he started, it was beautiful…. But it wasn't only Nick; it was all the guys-

"Love you" He kissed the phone and hung up. I immediately fell asleep in anticipation of our wedding day…one day…
