Chapter 16
3 months later-
"Okay Princess, you know the whole deal right?" AJ asked looking me squarely
in the eye.
"Yes, no smoking, drinking or partying, not that I'd DO any of those things
mind you!!" I said looking him equally square in the eye.
"Okay, be good." He said
"FOR WHO??? Pooh, I'm here ALONE!!" I said teasingly
"I know, you know Amanda's house number right, if you need anything call
her okay?" he asked referring to his girlfriend.
"Yeah, but I'm sure I'll be fine, it's ONLY a weekend AJ!!" I said laughing.
"Okay, I'm going now." He said and leaned over and kissed my cheek.
"Bye Pooh" I said as he walked away.
"Hey Christy?" Nick asked from behind me causing me to jump.
"My gosh, you scared me to death Nick!" I said swatting his arm
"Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you'll be okay." He said.
"Yeah, I'll be fine, and I won't mess with any of your stuff okay?" I told
him "Gosh, you're almost as bad as AJ!" I said laughing
"I'm not THAT bad am I??" He asked me pretending to be hurt.
"Oh, no, you're not THAT bad, I said ALMOST as bad!!" I said laughing again
"Okay, I'll see ya!!" He said running out to the bus.
Okay, let me explain the situation, the guys have an interview in New York
this weekend and the hotel reservations got screwed up and we lost 3 rooms
so, that only left enough for the guys to go. I didn't mind but AJ did, he
got all upset and went into a tirade about how I can't stay alone, our
neighborhood isn't safe at night, blah blah blah. So I told him to ask Nick
if I could crash at his place for the 2 nights and 3 days, and AJ decided
that would be best since Nick lived in a place with high security and all.
Nick of course said yes on the condition that I didn't trash it, like I'M
gonna do that!! So that's where I am right now, in Nicks house. What to do?
What to do?!
2nd evening at Nick's house-
Okay, so now I have a situation, I was sitting at the kitchen table reading
my book when I spilled grape juice all over my PJ's, great, I only brought
one pair too. I guess I'll have to borrow a shirt from Nick, he won't mind.
I walked into Nick's room and went to his second drawer, I opened it and
pulled out one of Nick's favorite shirts, okay, so I miss him, and this shirt
reminds me of him so sue me. I put it on and closed my eyes as I inhaled
the lasting traces of his cologne on it. All the sudden I got dizzy, I sat
on the bed and took deep breaths and tried to figure out why all of the sudden
I'm getting dizzy spells when I realize it is the cologne. Why? It's never
made me dizzy before, I reasoned. Well, lets think this out, his smell reminds
me of him, and he… And then it hit me-
"Oh my gosh. I'm in love with Nick" I whispered.
