Chapter 18
AJ's house 9:00pm
Nick's point of view-
There is nothing on TV tonight and Christy isn't due
home for another hour or so. AJ said something about a book on Christy's
bed that she wanted me to read, I'll go check that out.
Sure enough there was a book on her bed. I went and
picked it up to the page that was marked.
Dear Journal,
I am so confused. From the start I thought that
my relationship with Nick was like a brother-sister thing. I mean we act
like brother and sister right? That's what I thought until tonight when I
put on one of his shirts that smelled like him, I got dizzy and realized
that I really love him, I am IN love with him.
Gosh, why did my life have to get like this? Nick
would never think of me as anything more than a sister, now I have to go
through the torture of seeing him and having feelings that I know he won't
ever return! I just love him, plain and simple, I love him.

Oh gosh! I don't think she meant this book! Wait, I'm
worried about reading the wrong book when Christy is in LOVE with me? Gosh,
this really messes things up. I set the book on her nightstand and went back
downstairs, I don't want her to think I was snooping.
9:30pm AJ's doorstep
my point of view-
"Goodnight Jason" I said, we agreed that a kiss on the first date wasn't
something we should do, whew, that's a load off of me!!
"Night Christy! Christy?" Jason questioned.
"Yeah?"
"Can we go out again?" He asked a hint of hopefulness in his voice.
"Yeah, I'd love to Jason." I said with a smile. Hey, Nick and I won't ever
get together, I know that. I have to move on, and that is exactly what I
intend to do.
"Great, I'll call you sometime then." Jason said and then left. I unlocked
the door then took my key on my 'princess' key chain out of the door.
"Nick??" I called out.
"In here, what do ya need?" Nick called from the living room
"Nothing, I'm beat, I'm gonna go to bed!" I called back.
"Okay!" He hollered
With that I climbed up the stairs and went strait for my bed.
