Chapter 20
A week later in Orlando-
"Princess, Amanda and I are going out clubbing tonight okay?" AJ asked
"Yeah, but you don't like to leave me here remember?" I asked
"Yeah, but I know Jason is coming over and I think you guy will be okay,
is that okay with you? I'll call the other guys to make sure they know your
alone." He explained
"Yeah, I guess we'll be okay." I said.
That evening-
AJ and Amanda left a couple hours ago and Jason and I are sitting on the
couch watching a movie, correction, I am watching the movie, HE is watching
me, gosh that really makes me uncomfortable.
"Christy?" Jason asked after the movie finished.
"What?" I asked tiredly.
"I-I-I" Jason fumbled.
"Go ahead Jase, just say it okay?" I said smiling slightly. He returned my
smile.
"I love you Christy, so much." Jason said finally. My eyes must have bugged
out of my head. Gosh, that was like a bomb, I mean I know Jase and I are
close but, geesh, he loves me? I racked my brain trying to think of something
to say without hurting him.
"Jase, I need to think things out okay." I asked hoping he'd understand.
"Yeah, just one kiss goodnight and then I'll leave okay?" He asked, I decided
that it would be okay, we've kissed before. I leaned in and he did the same,
we were kissing when he tried to deepen the kiss, I tried pushing him away
but he forced me down and wouldn't let go, I tried screaming but it was only
muffled my his mouth.
Nick's point of view-
I just pulled up into AJ's driveway. I know Christy
is in there with Jason, AJ called me and told me this morning and that they'd
be here and just to make sure that if she needed me she could call. I was
just about to eat dinner tonight when I decided that I needed to see Christy,
I don't know why, but I just had a weird feeling and now I'm here.
I walked in the house and heard muffled screams, I
instantly ran into the house trying to find Christy.
My POV-
I felt Jason lifted off me, I closed my eyes tightly praying that someone
had come to help me and that Jason wasn't just getting up to take a breather.
I opened my eyes and to my surprise Nick was standing there holding Jason
by the collar of his shirt.
"DIDN'T YOUR MOTHER TEACH YOU TO RESPECT LADIES, IF SHE TELLS YOU TO GET
OFF, YOU GET OFF!!!!!!!!" Nick screamed at Jason.
"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND IF I EVER SEE YOU NEAR CHRISTY AGAIN, I SWEAR
YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!" Nick continued.
"Okay, I'll leave, oh and Christy, IT'S OVER, I never liked you anyway!"
Jason yelled and then ran off.
Nick and I just stared at each other for a while until finally he spoke.
"Are you okay?" He asked timidly
"how could you?" I asked softly
"What? How could I what?" He asked
"How could you shove the man that I thought I loved out the door like that??"
Nick just stared at me surprised.
"What gave you that right???" I asked tears spilling down my cheeks. Nick
stood there and looked at me, the he looked at the ceiling took a deep breath
and looked back at me.
"This is what gave me the right." He said, he softly caressed my cheek and
leaned in and kissed me. For an instant I gave in and kissed back.
"Wait" I said breathlessly as I pulled away.
"What? What did I do wrong?" Nick asked frantically.
"NO!! YOU CAN'T!! YOU JUST CAN'T" I yelled. Then I ran to my room and slammed
my door, making sure it was locked.
