Chapter 21
(next morning, Xmas morning)
"Hey do you feel alright to get out of bed?" Kevin asked
"Yeah where is everyone?" Celine asked
"AJ and Tes went to his moms, Christina and Nicks to his parents, Howie to his parents, and Brian went to Kentucky last night."
"So it's just us?" Celine asked
"Well yeah we have company coming later." Kevin said
"Who?" Celine asked
"My family found out you broke your arm and felt bad that we were spending christmas alone." Kevin said
"Did my dad call me?" Celine asked
"I talked to your mom last night, interesting conversation." Kevin said
"Dear lord please tell me she was not rude?" Celine asked
"No she wasn't," Kevin said "From what you told me of her, she was trying to impress me."
"I would scream if she came to visit me because it's all an act." Celine said
"My mom is excited to see you." Kevin said smiling
"I cannot wait to meet her." Celine said smiling
"She wants us to get married before we go on tour again." kevin said laughing
"When's that?" Celine asked
"Five months from now," Kevin said "You've got me for five whole months no touring."
"Great and College will start back up soon." Celine said bummed
"You have one more semester baby." Kevin said holding her chin "Then you can do whatever."
"Go on tour with you?" Celine asked
"Maybe." Kevin said kissing her "Go back to sleep, it's early yet."
"But I have to give you your presents." Celine said
"I'm wrapping yours now so you can't." Kevin said getting up
"Kevin I love you." celine said
"Love ya too baby." Kevin said leaving the room
Celine fell back onto her pillow and drifted off into la-la land. She dreamt of a beautiful summer wedding with peach flowers spread all over the lawn and ornaments. How perfect was this to be only in a dream?
"Baby it's time to wake up." Kevin said kissing her forehead
"Why can't we just sleep all day?" Celine asked
"Because company!" Kevin said tickling her
"hey watch it buster my arm hurts." Celine said
"I'm sorry Brian did that to you." Kevin said
"He didn't try." Celine replied
"Come out I have a surprise for you." Kevin said pulling her up
"What did you do kevin?" Celine asked
"You'll see." Kevin said throwing her a robe
Celine and Kevin walked out to the living room and there were a bunch of people.
"um hello." Celine said trying to smile when she saw her family
"Are you surprised?" Kevin asked
"Yeah." Celine mumbled "can we talk?"
"Sure just a second we'll be back." kevin said
They walked into the kitchen and Celine started asking questions.
"Why did you invite my family?" Celine asked almost in tears
"Because you need to reconcile with them Celine." Kevin said
"No Kevin," Celine said "They've hurt me in many ways and I can't deal with someone like that."
"Just calm down," Kevin said "Hang with my brothers and me if you want to okay?"
"Thanks." Celine said kissing him and walking back out
Celine sat down on the recliner and had her knees up to her chest.
"So look who broke her arm." A womans voice said
"Marie what do you want?" Celine snapped
"Now Now Celine," Marie teased "I just wanted to say Merry Christmas."
"Well the same to you." Celine said sarcastically "Did Heathy bring you lots of presents?"
"Yes he did," Marie siad laughing "All diamonds of course."
"Oh that's nice," Celine said "You thought your diamond was the prize, too bad I can't wear mine."
"W-w-what do you mean?" Marie asked
"Kevin can you come here?" Celine yelled
"Yeah just a second." Kevin told what appeared to be his brother as he ran over
"Tell my goody sister here that my diamond is bigger than hers." Celine said
"Um yeah it is," Kevin said "want me to go get it for you to see?"
"Uh no I have to get back to Heath." Marie said rushing over to spread the gossip
"She start on you already?" Kevin asked
"Yeah she did." Celine said "Sorry to bother you."
"No get up and come with me to meet my family." Kevin said
"Fine." Celine said walking with him to his family
"Now Mom this is Celine, Celine this is my mom Anne, and that's my brother Gerald, and that guy over there is my brother Tim." Kevin said announcing his family
"Hello." Celine said smiling
"Kevin you sure picked a very pretty girlfriend and I'm sure she's sweet." Anne said "Oh dear what happened to your arm?"
"Brian."Kevin said "Brian pushed her off of my lap."
"Wait till I see that little Brian." Tim said laughing
"Let him alone." Celine said "he didn't try."
"Sticking up for the enemy I see." Kevin said hugging her "Actually don't you think you should go change?"
"Yeah I guess I Should." Celine said "I'll be back, love ya."
"Love ya too." Kevin said as she ran up the stairs
"She has you so under a love spell it's not even funny." Gerald joked
Celine walked up into her room and she slipped into the shower. She chose a pair of dark blue jeans with a cream colored sweater and left her hair down.
"I'm back." Celine said grabbing his arm
"Hey baby." Kevin said kissing her "It's time for xmas presents everyone."
Everyone scattered and went to sit down and grab their presents for everyone else. Celine handed all hers out and received two presents from her family. Both from her dad. How cheated was she?
"Hey I have a present left for you." Kevin whispered into her ear
"I have some left for you too." Celine said smiling
"I'll be back." Kevin said
Kevin walked into the kitchen and got a box out and gave it to celine.
"What did you get me?" Celine begged
She pealed the paper off and opened up the box and inside she found a puppy. It appeared to be a chocolate lab.
"Kevin," Celine said "It's so cute."
"I thought you might like that." Kevin said kissing her
"I do I do." Celine said "what should we name her?"
"I think we should name her Bella." Kevin smiled
"Then Bella it is." Celine said holding her "your presents are over there."
"Thanks baby." Kevin said kissing her forehead
Everyone opened their gifts and liked what they got. around five Celine's family all left to head back to Virginia. Kevin's brothers and mom stayed around.
"So dear do you miss your family?" Anne questioned
"Um this is horrible to say but I miss my dad but not any of the others, well I miss Tes." Celine said
"Why do you not miss the others?" Anne said as her heart felt to Celine
"My mom has never been a mother to me," Celine said "Honestly I believe she had my sister and I by mistake."
"Don't say that." Kevin said
"It's true Kevin," Celine said "she is remotely rude to Tes and me but Christian and Marie are the prince and princess."
"I believe we should let Kevin and Celine alone." Anne said standing up "Gerald and Tim lets go back to the hotel."
"Alright goodbye you two." Gerald and Tim echoed
"Bye." Celine smiled as they walked out the door "You have such a great family
Kevin."
