Chapter 29
About a week later back in Orlando (five days after
Brian went out with Celine's friend.)
"Hola Celine," Brian said jumping down on the sofa "What's up?"
"Not much," Celine said typing up some papers "Just typing my resumes up
and sending them out later today."
"You're leaving us?" Brian asked
"Not by choice Brian," Celine said "I'm going to apply for sports pyschology
jobs because I need to do something."
"Why can't you join the music field," Brian asked "you have the talent and
they want you."
"Brian I didn't come to Olrando looking for the music industry." Celine said
printing papers out "I came because the guy I fell in love with asked me
to and I wanted to finish my college education."
"Okay Okay," Brian said moping "Are you willing to leave your husband here
and you to move half way across the country?"
"Brian," Celine started "Sometimes I wonder if you consider me your wife
because you question me moe than Kevin."
"Kevin doesn't speak up for himself," Brian said "He's not gonna tell you
not to do something if he knows it doesn't matter."
"Kevin and I have talked," Celine said "We both are thinking of leaving Orlando
no matter what."
"Where would you go?" Brian asked
"I was called two weeks ago before we left to go away about a promising position
in Colorado and it looks as if I probably have it."
"So you're saying that you are moving to Colorado and Kevin is too?" Brian
asked
"We're hoping on it," Celine said "you know my dream, Kevin knows it, and
everyone else does."
"Whatever." Brian said
"Whatever is right if you want to cry about it," Celine said "Go cry to someone
who cares because right now I have to get these resumes done."
Celine went about her business. She was sick of Brian. He constantly had
to know what was going on in their life. He was there five times a day. All
she wanted was time alone. Had she rushed into a marriage? No she loves Kevin.
Time and Space was needed.
(About 3 hours later, Kevin is in the den watching
tv)
"Hey C-C did you get a call from those people again?" Kevin yelled
"No baby I didn't," Celine said "Brian complained because I told him i was
going for it."
"Why does he have to be in our business?" Kevin asked
"I have no idea," Celine said "he asked how you felt and I said okay do you
feel that way?"
"I want what is best for you," Kevin said "We can do it if we're ten miles
or five thousand miles until I can sell the house."
"Well I faxed my resume to the one in Colorado and they said they'd call
if they needed me to come for an interview." Celine said
"Great I hope you get it." Kevin said starting to kiss her but interrupted
by the phone
"Hello?" Celine asked
"Yes is Celine Richardson there?" The woman asked
"Yes this is her speaking."
"Hi Celine this is Cathy from the Sports Office in Denver."
"Hello Nice to meet you." Celine said glancing and smiling at Kevin
"I just want to inform you that we would like you to come to Denver tomorrow
and get everything settled." Cathy said
"Thank you so very much," Celine said "My husband and I are trying to figure
out what to do with our home here but I guess there are apartments to find
until we sell our home?"
"Don't worry about finding a home," Cathy said "we have premiere homes in
my housing area and they are brand new ready to sell."
"Oh okay," Celine said "Thank you so very much but I must head out to pack."
"You're welcome see you tomorrow when you get here." Cathy said hanging up
the phone
Kevin looked at Celine
"I got it." Celine squealed
"Baby I'm so happy for you." Kevin said hugging her
"Thanks I am so excited!" Celine said kissing him "Come with me?"
"I can't," Kevin sighed "I have to stay here this week."
"What am I getting into?" Celine asked
"A job that will let you do what YOU want." Kevin said picking her up and
slinging her over his shoulder
"Kev put me down." Celine screamed
"No way we must celebrate." Kevin said taking her outside
(Later that night after celine and Kevin got back from
dinner)
"Maybe I should call Tes?" Celine asked
"GO ahead do it." Kevin said smiling
Celine dialed her sisters college digits quickly.
"Hello?" A guy asked
"Yes is Tes there?" Celine questioned
"Uh yeah hold on." The guy replied
"Hello?" Tes said bubbly
"Hey Tes it's me Celine."
"Hey how are you?" Tes asked
"Great I got a job." Celine said happily
"Great where are you moving to now?" Tes asked
"Back to Denver again." Celine sighed
"That's far to be away from Kevin." Tes said
"We're going to sell his house here and buy one there probably." Celine said
"So how are the guys?" Tes asked
"Great Brian bothers me constantly, Nick is visiting his parents, Kevin is
here with me, Howie is out helping build his condos, and AJ well you don't
want to hear I'm sure about him." Celine sighed
"No how is he?" Tes asked
"Pretty good," Celine started "He's gone out and had some fun but life isn't
as peachy kean as before."
"Oh well," Tes said "Please give him this message for me?"
"Sure." Celine said waiting
"Tell him that I am sorry that I overreacted and that I feel horrible, I
don't think we were meant to be in the first place, but I still love him
as one of my best friends." Tes said
"okay I'll do that but I must go now because I have so much to do." Celine
said
"Bye C-C good luck!" Tes said
(off the phone as AJ and Nick walk in)
"Hey girly girl." AJ said hugging her
"Hey dork I have a message for you." Celine said
"What What?" AJ asked
"Tes is sorry that she overreacted that she feels horrible, and that she
doesn't believe you two were meant to be lovers, but she still loves you
as one of her best friends." Celine spatted out
"Do you have her number so I can call her back at college later tonight?"
AJ asked
"Yeah here." Celine said handing him paper
"So where's Kevin?" Nick asked
"Packing my stuff becuse he's a sweetie pie." Celine yelled
"Where are you going?" Nick pleaded
"I got a job in Denver," Celine said "I want this so bad but is it going
to affect my marriage?"
"Baby," Nick said hugging her "Kevin isn't going to do anything to hurt your
relationship because he loves you too much."
"But I am risking my whole life here," Celine said "we'll never be together
there, we won't have kids."
"You'll have kids believe me," Nick said "Kevin wants kids probably more
than Brian and that's hard."
"Thanks make me sound like that's all I'm here for." Celine said wiping away
her tears
"Hey what's wrong?" Kevin came out asking
"I don't know If I am doing the right thing." Celine said walking over
"You are baby," Kevin said "You are doing what you have wanted your whole
life and I can't stop you because nobody did to me."
"Thanks baby," Celine said hugging him "I'm gonna head to bed if you don't
mind?"
"Nope go right ahead since you have to get up so early." Kevin said kissing
her lips
"Love you." Celine said
"Love ya too babes." Kevin said walking towards the living room with AJ and
Nick
Celine crawled in her bed. This was the last day in her first real home.
She was going to miss this house so bad. It held some of the best moments
in her life.
"Dear lord please let everything go ok with our lives." Celine prayed
Celine crawled into the bed and dozed off quickly. Four am was to come quick.
