Chapter 25
The Next Day
Tiffany's View
Darlene and I are at the airport waiting for Colleen to get in. Michelle
stayed at home with Mary. She came over this morning to see how we were doing
and all. She even told us that she thinks Kevin is going to propose to her.
I am so happy for her. They belong together there is no denying it. I can't
wait for Kevin to propose to her.
Anyway I can't wait to see Colleen. It's been so long! She's been so busy
and everything so she hasn't been able to come down here to visit but now
she can.
"Tiffany why don't you sit down?" Darlene asked me from a chair.
"Because if I sit down I won't be able to get back up that's why," I said.
She just laughed.
"It's not funny! It's sucks! See now if Brian were here I would sit down
because he can get me up quickly but since he isn't here I'm just going to
stand. Just wait until you get this big. It's really sucks."
"OK OK, don't remind me! I'm having a hard enough time now and now I gotta
worry about getting bigger."
"Shut up," I said. She just stuck her tongue out at me.
"DANNY!! DAIRY!!!" we heard from behind us. I turned around and found Colleen
running over to us.
"COLLEY!!!!!" we both squealed. Colleen set her bags down and hugged me tight.
Not to tight but tight enough.
"I missed you guys sooooo much!" she said hugging Darlene.
"We missed you too!" I said.
"DAMN! You girls are huge! I'm glad I'm not pregnant," she said.
"HAHA! Very funny!" Darlene said. "It's not like we picked to be pregnant.
We have our horny boyfriends to blame."
"Well, you should have said no but how are your horny boyfriends?"
"They're good. We miss them already. Sorry you didn't get to meet the guys,"
I said.
"Ah it's OK. I'll meet them at your wedding right?"
"Yeah," I smiled. "But I think you'll meet them before then."
"Yeah maybe," she said. I guess I should tell you what she looks like. She
has light brown hair that's layered to her shoulders and she has green eyes
and she's about 5'6 or 7. She's really pretty. Ya know what? AJ would really
like her. If only she met him before they had to go. Well, I'm gonna hook
them up as soon and the boys get back. I love hooking people up. It's sooo
fun!
"Hey lets get going. I think some BSB fans are noticing us," Darlene said.
"Why do you say that?"
"Because the girls with BSB shirts are glaring at us," she said pointing
to some girls that were about 25 feet away from us. I looked at them and
then back to Colleen and Darlene, "Yeah lets go. I don't feel like being
yelled at for taking their man."
Colleen laughed and picked up her bags. We talked as we got the rest of Colleen's
baggage and went over to the convertible.
"So how's the babies doing?" she asked.
"Good but they sure are a pain," Darlene said.
"Yeah but I'm almost done. Only a few more months," I said.
"That's good," Colleen smiled.
"Yup so how's everyone in Colorado?"
"Oh they're doing fine! Your brothers say hi. They wanted to apologized for
not calling lately. They've just been busy."
"Oh it's OK," I smiled.
"I'll tell them the next time I see them but I bet you'll talk to them soon,"
she said getting into the back on the car.
"Yeah I bet I will," getting into the drivers seat. Darlene got in the passengers
seat and put her seat belt on. I turned the car on and backed out of the
parking lot.
"WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO HUMID HERE!?" Colleen whined.
"I know but you'll get used to it I promise," Darlene said.
"I really hope so. I'm dying back here!" she said. I just smiled as I turned
onto the highway. About a half an hour later I pulled up to the gate. I punched
in the code and the gates slowly opened.
"WOAH!! That is a big ass house!" Colleen exclaimed as I pulled up to the
house.
"Yeah I know! Brian over does things!" I said.
"I'm going to love staying here. I feel like a queen. I mean you got gates
surrounding the place. I feel so important," she said. Darlene and I just
laughed.
"I want to see my room," she said excitedly.
"OK get your bags and I'll show you," I said. I walked up to the door and
opened the door. I walked in and was greeted by Michelle running into me.
"MOMMY! Save me! Mary is chasing me!" she giggled. I just laughed and Mary
walked around the corner.
"Hey!" she greeted.
"Hey!"
"Help me!" Colleen said struggling into the house dropping her bags.
"I'll help you," Mary said.
"Oh thanks a bunch," she smiled.
"You're welcome. My names Mary, Kevin's girlfriend," Mary said holding out
her hand.
"HI! I'm Colleen, Darlene and Tiffany's friend," Colleen said taking Mary's
hand and shaking it.
"It's nice to meet you so where do you want these bags?"
"Uh well I dunno," Colleen said looking at me.
"Oh go upstairs and pick a room. Mary will show you the rooms that are available
and don't freak out when you see them. They're really nice," I said.
"I'll try not to!" Colleen laughed. She picked up her baggage and followed
Mary up the stairs. Colleen is going to have a great time here. I just know
it!
