Chapter 36

The Next Day

Brian's View

I just got into Florida and I'm on my way home. I have to see Tiffany. I need to explain everything. All the guys came with. They are really pissed at me right now. Our tour is officially over. The magazine thing went to far and now all the fans are pretty pissed off. I have a feeling that the whole world hates me. That's how I feel.

We pulled up to the gates and I punched in the code numbers. The gates slowly opened and we drove in. When Kevin parked the car I was about to get out but Nick pushed me back down into the seat.

"You're staying here until I say you can go inside," he said.

"It's my house and I need to talk to Tiffany!" I protested. All the guys just glared at me so I just sat there. Nick got out of the car and walked up to the door.

Nick's View

I rang the doorbell and waited. Darlene then slowly opened the door. She slightly smiled at me and then glared at Brian in the car.

"Hi," she said quietly.

"Hi," I said and kissed her on the lips and hugged her.

"What are you guys doing back?" she asked.

"The tour has been canceled because of that no good player out there," I said.

"How could he do something so bad? Tiffany loves him with all her heart. Well, she did love him."

"Where is she?" I asked looking around.

"She's upstairs taking a nap with Christian and Michelle. She's pretty upset," she said walking into the living room and sitting down. I followed and sat next to her.

"Did she find out first?"

"Yeah I think so. She went to go get the mail and the magazine was in there. Right when she saw it she broke down crying," she said.

"That's so sad. I feel so sorry for her. I warned Brian to not hurt her and I even threatened him but he didn't listen. I kept my promise. Well, I kind of keep my promise. I beat the shit out of him but not to a pulp. I'm not done with him yet. He can't hurt my best friend like that."

"You're such a good friend," Darlene said smiling at me.

"I'm just looking out for her. I am older," I said.

"What by two weeks?" she asked.

"So? I'm still older," I said.

"I can't believe Brian even showed up here. Once Tiffany sees him he's going to get the beating of his life. She's going to put him through hell," she said.

"I hope she does. He deserves it. Let's just get off this subject. Let's talk about us," I smiled.

"What about US?" she asked.

"How's the baby?"

"Good, it's almost time. I can't wait but then again I don't want to go through all that pain," she said.

"Well, I'll be there and I'll help you through this. I am your boyfriend and I am the father," I said.

"Yes, I know and you seem very proud of that," she smiled.

"I am believe me," I said kissing her on the lips.

"Oh I'm sorry guys," Colleen said from the doorway. We looked at her and smiled.

"Hey it's OK," Darlene said.

"I thought you were on tour?" she said coming over and sitting in one of the chairs.

"We were but it was canceled because of Brian."

"Oh the asshole," she said.

"Yeah the asshole."

"Where is he anyway?"

"All the guys are outside. I just wanted to see if it was all right if we all came in," I said.

"Yeah but you have to be quiet. Tiffany didn't get much sleep last night and this is the first time she's actually laid down," Darlene said.

"OK," I said. I got up and went to the door. I opened it and motioned for the guys to come in. All the guys opened their doors and got out. Brian was behind everyone and he seemed really nervous. He should be. I hope Tiffany bites his head off. I'm going to enjoy every minute of it but on the other hand I'm going to hate seeing Tiffany so upset. I still love her folks! I always will and nothing is going to change that. I'm just in love with Darlene now and I'm happy that I'm with her.

The guys walked in the house slowly and looked around.

"You have to be quiet. Tiffany is sleeping upstairs with Christian and Michelle. She didn't get any sleep last night," I said and then glared at Brian. He just looked down at the floor.

"OK," they all said. We walked into the room and sat down.

"Hey," Darlene and Colleen smiled at us.

"Hey," we all said. Brian sat in one of the chairs, I sat down next to Darlene, AJ made Colleen get up and then made her sit on his lap, and Howie and Kevin sat in the other chairs.

"So how is she?" Kevin asked.

"VERY upset," Darlene said and glared at Brian. I looked at the coffee table in front of me and found 5 magazines. All of them were the ones with Brian and Melissa kissing.

"Why do you have so many of the magazines?" I asked.

"Well, one is Tiffany's, one is mine and then, the other two are Mary's and Stacey's and the extra one we just bought for some reason," Colleen explained.

"Tiffany must be so depressed right now," Howie said.

"She is," Darlene said.

"Uh...hi guys," we heard someone say softly from behind us. Tiffany was standing there in blue Jean shorts, a big white T-shirt and her hair up in a high ponytail.

"Oh hi," we all said. Brian just looked at her.

Brian's View

I saw Tiffany and was about to cry. She looks so unlike herself. She's so depressed and sad not like the happy funny girl that I love so much.

"Hi," I said standing up. She just looked down at the floor. I knew she was trying to keep back tears.

"Uh...we'll leave you two alone," Colleen said getting up and grabbing AJ's hand.

"Yeah...we'll let you two talk," Kevin said and exited the room. Everyone soon followed and it was just me and Tiffany in the room. I looked at her and then walked up to her.

"I'm..." I began but before I could start she slapped me hard across the face. I held my cheek in shock. She looked at me with pure hate on her face.

"Tiff..."

"SAVE IT! I don't want to hear one damn word you have to say! Whatever you say you can just shove it straight up your ass!" she yelled at me angrily.

"Tiffany just let me..."

"Shut the hell up! I don't want to hear it! I got all the facts! You love Melissa and you cheated on me! Not only me but Michelle and Christian too!"

"I didn't cheat on you," I said.

"BULL SHIT! What do you call this!?" she yelled picking up one of the magazines. Tears were beginning to flow down her face.

"It was an accident!"

"AN ACCIDENT!? A kiss isn't an accident Brian!" she yelled.

"I love you Tiffany, please just listen..."

"SHUT UP!" she screamed. She pressed her lips together and as tears streamed rapidly down her face. She dropped the magazine and then looked at me.

"What did I do?" she asked softly.

"You didn't do anything."

"I thought you loved me. I thought we were going to get married and have children. I thought I was a good girlfriend."

"You were a good girlfriend. You ARE a good girlfriend," I said.

"No Brian, WERE, I'm not your girlfriend anymore."

"What?" I asked. Tears were coming to my eyes. "What are you talking about? We're getting married and we're going to have that big family that you want."

"No, we're not Brian," she said. She looked down at her hand and slowly pulled off both her rings that I gave her. She walked over to me and opened up my hand.

"We're through," she said and then pushed past me. I looked down at my hand and started to cry softly.

"Tiffany," I said turning around. She stopped and looked at me.

"Please, don't leave me. Melissa is nothing to me," I said. She just looked at me sadly and walked up the stairs. NO! This can't happen! Tiffany and I belong together! We're getting married and we're going to have tons kids. This can't happen to me. Not now, I love her to much. I can't lose her but I already have. I lost my girlfriend, I lost the mother of my children, I lost my fiancee, but most of all I lost my soul mate.
