Chapter 57
10 Years Later
Tiffany's View
"Brian honey? Can you please help me?" I asked trying to get up from the
couch. Brian ran into the room and helped me up.
"Thanks," I said kissing him on the cheek.
"Anything for my beautiful wife," he smiled at me.
"MOM! Christian won't stop bugging me!" Michelle yelled storming into the
room.
"What is he doing now?" I sighed.
"I'm on the phone with Katie and all he does he knock on my door or he won't
shut up!"
"Christian! Get down here!" Brian yelled. Christian ran down the stairs and
smiled at us innocently.
"What did I do?" he asked.
"Stop bothering your sister...you now she hasn't talked to Katie in a long
time."
"So?" he asked.
"Just leave her alone," Brian said.
"Fine," he mumbled walking away from us. Michelle smiled and headed back
upstairs.
"Mommy? Can you please tell Jason to give me back my teddy bear?" my 5 year
old daughter, Courtney, said walking up to me.
"Jason! Come here!" I yelled. I have to deal with this everyday. It gets
pretty old.
"What is it Mom?" my 8 year old son Jason asked coming out of the kitchen
and walking up to me.
"Please give me a break and give your sister her teddy bear back," I said.
"Oh OK," he said walking up the stairs.
"Thank you mommy!" Courtney said happily running up the stairs. Brian walked
up to me and started to rub my back gently.
"Want to go take a nap? I can handle the kids," he said.
"Yeah I think I'm gonna do that," I sighed. "Are you sure you can handle
4 kids on your own?"
"I think I can handle it," he smiled at me.
"OK," I smiled. He kissed me lightly on the lips and I walked slowly up the
stairs. It's not easy when your pregnant. Yes, I am pregnant once again!
I think this will be the last time considering we already have 4 kids and
2 more are on the way. I'm having twins...I really can't believe it.
I closed the door behind me and walked over to the bed and sat down. I laid
on my back and stroked my stomach gently. Brian and I have been married for
almost 11 years and we're still going strong. We barely have any fights which
is really good. I think we're going to stay together for the rest of our
lives. We're really happy together.
Michelle is now 14 going on 15 pretty soon. She has grown up real nicely.
She's very beautiful and from what I hear a lot of boys like her at school.
Of course Brian asks her tons of questions before a date and every boy that
asks her out. Those poor guys. Brian quizzes them on where they are going,
what time they'll be home and so on. Michelle complains about it a lot but
Brian never stops. He worries a lot about his little girl. It's so sweet!
Christian is now 11 years old. It seems just yesterday that he was a baby.
He's growing up very nicely too. He looks so much like Brian. They even look
like twins at times. Christian gets a lot of attention from girls that's
for sure. He hates it though. He says he's never going to marry or date a
girl but I keep telling him he'll change his mind but of course he argues
with me. I know he has a little crush on Alyssa, Nick and Darlene's daughter.
It's so noticeable. The good thing is Alyssa likes Christian too. I have
a feeling they will go out when they're older.
Jason is my 8 year old son. I had him a couple of years after Brian and I
got married. He's a real character. All he does is play jokes or do stupid
things to make everyone laugh. He's a lot like Brian too. Jason is really
independent. He does what he pleases and I let him do whatever he wants as
long as it's legal and he doesn't get hurt. He loves running around and doing
sports. Him and Christian both play soccer and basketball and they are pretty
good at it too.
Courtney is my little baby. She's 5 years old and she's adorable. Brian loves
playing with her. She loves to dress up and play house and of course Brian
plays with her. She brightens up everyone's lives. When you're down she'll
give you a big hug and a kiss to make you feel better and it always works.
Since all the other kids are doing there own thing and when I need help Courtney
gladly helps me with no problem. She's great to have around but I know when
she's older she'll change just like Michelle, Christian, and Jason have.
Darlene and Nick got married 2 years after Brian and I did. They have 3 kids,
Alyssa who is 11, Ryan who is 9, and the baby of the family Hannah who is
4. They are really great kids. Alyssa is a real sweet heart. She likes to
entertain everybody. She loves to sing and dance and I know she's going to
get a job in the entertainment business. There's no doubt about it. Ryan
is an exact replica of his father. He's a real cutie. He's going to be a
magnet for girls...he's not going to have any trouble with finding a girlfriend.
Now little Hannah, Oh I love her. She's so cute! Whenever she comes over
she goes straight to my closet and dresses up. She loves it when I put make
up on her and do her hair. She says her mother doesn't do that a whole lot.
I don't really blame Darlene. She is a pretty busy woman. Anyway...They all
just got back from London for a vacation. Darlene and Nick really seem to
be happy together. Nick proposed to her when we were all in the Bahamas for
a short break. He took her out to the beach and right above their heads a
plane flew over them spelling out in letters from the smoke 'Will you marry
me Darlene?' Well, of course she said yes. I know for sure that they are
going to stay together. They still live in Florida just like Brian and I.
Actually all the guys still live here. They couldn't bare to leave. I really
don't blame them.
AJ and Colleen got married about 7 years ago. They have 2 kids. Their oldest
is Chris who is 6 almost 7 and Daniel who is 5. Colleen told me the other
day that they're trying for a girl so another baby could be on its way. Chris
is already asking AJ if he could get a tattoo. Colleen just says no which
I would say too. Chris you could say is pretty wild! Just like his father!
He's going to be some trouble but we're all going to keep him in line. Daniel
is the total opposite of Chris. He's well behaved and he helps Colleen out
a whole lot. He seems to have a little crush on Courtney but I'm not sure
yet. Colleen and AJ really are happy together. I thought it was so romantic
how AJ proposed to her. They were in Paris and on the Eiffel Tower and AJ
got on one knee and asked her to marry her as the night sky filled with fire
works. He spent a lot of money on that but he still says it was worth it
because he got the greatest wife out of it.
Kevin and Mary got married one year right after Brian and I got married.
They have 4 kids. The oldest is Shane who is 10, then Melanie who is 8, then
there's Sophia who is 6, and then the baby Jonathan who just turned 4. They
are all really good kids and very polite. Kevin spoils them though just like
all of us spoil all of our kids. Shane is a real cutie. He's going to break
a lot of hearts that's for sure and Melanie and Sophia are going to grow
up to be real beautiful and Jonathan, well, I don't want to imagine him growing
up yet. He's the cutest little thing. He's a real sweetie. He compliments
you on everything and he's real polite. I know that might change soon so
I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. Kevin and Mary are going real strong.
They are very much in love and I don't see them seperating at all.
Howie and Stacey broke up a couple of months after Brian and I got married.
Howie was depressed for weeks but once he met Cynthia he went back to his
old self. Him and Cynthia began going out and a year later they got married.
They have two kids. Wayne is the oldest, he's 7 and April is 3. Wayne is
real artistic. All he does is draw and color and every time he comes over
he has a new picture for me to put on the refrigerator. He colors pictures
for everyone. I don't think there's one refrigerator that doesn't have one
of his drawings on it. He's really good at it too. April is really energetic.
All she does is run around and wanting to play. I don't see how one person
could have so much energy but we all love her just the same.
The Backstreet Boys are still going strong. They still tour and I think they
are on their 9th or 10th album. I really can't keep track. I'm surprised
at how they keep making CDs. They never run out of ideas. They're not as
busy as they used to be. They have more vacations, which is really good so
I could spend more time with Brian and the kids would get to see him more
often, and they don't do many TV appearances. They are still very popular
and Brian tells me that they aren't even thinking about breaking up the group.
I'm really happy for all of them. They haven't been singing in the same group
for all these years. They did do some solo tours and a couple of their own
albums. Brian has 2 albums out and he wants to work on another one so a third
album might come out soon, Nick has 1 album out and he's working on one right
now, AJ has 3 albums out, Howie has 2, and Kevin only has 1. I own all of
them and they are really good. I'm very proud of all these guys.
I yawned and closed my eyes. I guess you could say the last ten years have
been real exciting and busy. I wouldn't change any of it. I sighed and slowly
and peacefully drifted off to sleep.
