Chapter 63
The Same Night
I walked out of the bathroom while pulling my shirt
over my head and throwing it to the side. Tiffany was sitting up on the bed
reading a book. I walked over and crawled up on the bed and took the book
out of her hands.
"Hey...excuse me mister I was reading that," Tiffany
said. I smiled and threw the book on the table next to the bed.
"I don't want you to read," I smiled at her and kissed
her lips lightly.
"But I want to read, now if you will give me my book
back," she said.
I shook my head and kissed her again.
"I love you baby," I whispered.
"I love you too," she smiled at me. "Now give me my
book!"
"No! I want to cuddle with you," I grinned. She smiled
at me and kissed my nose.
"OK, we can cuddle if you want," she smiled.
"Goodie!" I said laying down and opening my arms for
her to lay down next to me. I wrapped my arms around her after she got
comfortable.
We sat in silence for a few minutes and finally I
began to sing lightly to her, "I'll never break your heart, I'll never make
you cry, I'd rather die than live without you, I'd give you all of me honey
that's no lie..."
"Brian your voice is so beautiful. Your fans are lucky
to get to hear your voice," Tiffany said softly.
"Yeah but you're even luckier because I would sing
for you everyday."
"And you do sing to me everyday," Tiffany said. I
could tell she was smiling.
"I love you so much Tiffany. I'm so glad we're together
and that we have a family."
"I love you too and I'm so happy that we're married
and that you gave me the chance to have your children."
"I wouldn't want any other woman to give birth to
my children," I said squeezing her gently. She looked up and me and
smiled.
"You are too good to me," she said while she gently
stroked my bare stomach.
"I don't think I am. I'm always trying to do something
better for you."
"You don't need to do anything. As long as I hear
you say those three little words I'm happy. I don't want anything else."
"You always tell me that but I just don't think it's
enough."
"Brian it is enough. The only thing that I want is
you and your love and I have that. Don't worry about it."
"OK baby..."
"Brian?"
"Yeah sweetie?"
"Do you think the babies will be all right?"
"What do you mean? Of course they'll be all right.
Michelle, Christian, Jason, and Courtney turned out fine."
"I know that honey but...I don't know. I just have
a feeling that something might be wrong."
I stroked her hair and asked, "What do you think it
could be?"
"I don't know but I don't like it."
"Oh honey don't worry about it. You're just nervous
about the pregnancy. It's normal," I soothed.
"It's not normal Brian. I didn't feel like this when
I was pregnant with the other kids," she said sitting up and looking at me.
I frowned and sat up next to her.
"You really think that something might be wrong?"
I asked rubbing her back. She set her hand on her stomach and rubbed it gently.
She looked up at me and nodded.
"I'll tell you what...we'll go to the doctors tomorrow
to see if everything is fine OK?"
"It's not that Brian. I mean everything is probably
fine now but I feel like something will happen."
"I don't understand," I said confused.
"I don't think anything is wrong just yet. I think
it'll occur later on."
"But you're going to be having the babies in just
a few weeks."
"I know that...oh I don't know. Maybe I'm just going
crazy or something. I could be worrying about nothing," she sighed. I stroked
her cheek and kissed her lips gently.
"You're not going crazy and if you feel that something
might be wrong then we'll go to the doctors. I don't want my babies to be
in any danger and if you feel that they might be then I believe you and I
want to check up on it."
She smiled lightly at me and kissed my lips,
"OK."
"All right we're going to the doctors tomorrow
then."
She smiled at me and then got up out of the bed and
walked over to the mirror. She looked at her stomach and rubbed it gently.
I watched her for a minute and got out of bed and walked over to her wrapping
my arms around her stomach.
"Baby...try not to worry about it...please. I don't
want you to put stress on yourself and the babies," I said looking into her
eyes in the mirror. She pressed her lips together and set her hands on top
of mine.
"I'll try not to," she said softly. I turned her around
to look at me and I looked deep into her eyes.
"Those babies are going to be completely fine you
got that? I'm not going to let anything happy to them," I said.
"OK," she smiled up at me. I smiled at her and kissed
her softly. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back.
"I...love...you..."I said in between kisses. She giggled
and said, "I love you too."
"Let's go to bed," I said pulling away from her. I
helped her into bed and then laid down next to her. She snuggled up next
to me and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Good night Princess," I said gently.
"Good night Baby Duck," she said softly. I closed
my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
Colleen's View
"AJ, I'm nervous," I said pacing the room. AJ was
sitting on the bed watching me pace the room.
"Baby stop pacing. You're making me sick and don't
be nervous," he said looking at me. I stopped and stood in front of him fiddling
with my hands.
"How can I not be nervous? I'm testing to see if I'm
pregnant for crying out loud," I said.
He stood up and walked over to me putting his hands
on my waist and kissing me softly on the lips.
"Stop worrying...I'm sure you are pregnant and we
want that right?" he asked looking into my eyes.
I nodded and said, "Yeah but what if it isn't a
girl?"
"Then we'll try again," AJ said.
"We just can't keep having babies AJ. We'll end up
with 10 kids and I don't want that."
"OK, tell you what, how about if this isn't a girl
then we just stop?"
I looked down and then back up at him sadly, "But
I really want a girl."
"I know you do baby...I know you do," he said hugging
me. "We'll just see what happens OK?"
"OK," I smiled up at him. I looked over at the clock
and then I looked at AJ again.
"It's time," I said. I walked in the bathroom and
looked at the pregnancy test. I smiled and brought it out to him.
"We're gonna have a baby," I smiled. He grinned and
ran over and picked me up spinning me around.
"I'm gonna be a Daddy again!" he laughed out in joy
while setting me back down on the ground.
I smiled at him and kissed him on the lips. He kissed
me back and then pulled away.
"When will we tell the others?"
"How about tomorrow? I'm kinda tired to call everyone
right now," I said rubbing my eyes.
"OK," he said hugging me. "Lets get to bed."
I got into bed and snuggled up next to AJ once he
got in. He kissed me on the top of my head and said, "I love you baby."
"I love you too...good night," I said softly.
"Good night."
A Week Later at The Airport
Darlene's View
"Nick will you please get over here," I hissed at
Nick. He was standing about 50 feet away from me trying to hide from when
my parents get here.
"No way," he said.
"Mommy? Why is daddy way over there?" Hannah asked
tugging on my long skirt.
"He's just...playing," I said. Alyssa and Ryan looked
at me weird and then looked at Nick.
"What is he playing?" Hannah asked.
"Why don't you go ask him?" Ryan said.
"Why does he look nervous?" she asked ignoring
Ryan.
"Shut up Hannah. You ask to many questions," Ryan
said. Alyssa smacked him in the stomach and said, "Don't talk to her like
that. She's only 4 years old."
"So? She's an annoying 4 year old," Ryan said.
"Ryan be quiet and stop being so mean to your sister,"
I scolded him.
"Hey look there's Grandma and Grandpa!" Alyssa said
pointing over to where the people were un boarding the plane. I smiled and
waved at them. They waved back and started to come over to us.
I turned around and said to Nick, "Get over
here!"
Nick hesitated and finally walked over slowly.
"Oh my! You sure have grown up!" Allison, my mother,
said while looking the kids up and down. She gave them all hugs along with
Rob, my father, and finally they came over to me and Nick. I gave them a
hug and Nick smiled a cheesy smile and shook hands with my father and kissed
my Mom on the cheek.
"So how have you been treating my daughter Mimk?"
"It's Nick," Nick corrected him.
"Whatever Mimk...answer my question."
"I've been treating her fine. She is my wife and mother
of my children."
"Not our choice of course," Rob said. I saw Nick clench
his fists and look down at the ground.
"How about we just go home and get you two settled,"
I said stepping forward.
"Yes, I think that would be a great idea!" my Mom
said. I picked Hannah up and followed Nick out to the car. I hope this visit
is peaceful. I don't want any fighting but we have already gotten off at
a bad start. I know Nick is going to argue with my father and of course I'm
going to try to stop them. I have a feeling that many problems are going
to take place but I just hope nothing gets too wild and crazy. I don't know
if I'll be able to handle it.
