Chapter 67
A Few Months Later
AJ's View
"Tell me why we aren't telling the other's I'm pregnant
again?" Colleen asked walking next to me.
"Because I want to know if it's a girl or a boy first,"
I replied.
"But I want to tell them now," she whined. I opened
the door to the doctor's office and walked in after her.
"We'll tell them soon enough honey," I said. She sighed
and said, "If you say so."
We were at the doctor's office to see what the sex
of the baby is. I was really nervous about it so I bet Colleen is nervous
too. We walked into the waiting room and took a seat.
"You nervous?" I asked taking her hand and squeezing
it.
"Yeah," she nodded.
"So am I...let's just hope it's a girl," I smiled
at her. She smiled back at me and a nurse finally came into the room telling
us to come in the back. Here we go!
A Few Hours Later
"I can't believe it," Colleen said walking into the
house.
"I can't believe it either," I said closing the door
behind us.
"We're going to have a baby girl!" she exclaimed happily.
I smiled widely and picked her up and hugged her tightly.
"We finally did it! We're going to have a girl!" I
said excitedly.
"I can't wait! I'm gonna dress her up in little dresses
and play with her hair," Colleen smiled.
"I just know she's going to be beautiful just like
her mother," I said kissing her forehead.
"You're so sweet," she smiled kissing my lips
lightly.
"I know and I'm only sweet to you," I said.
"Yeah right," she said rolling her eyes.
"I am!"
"No you're not...you're sweet to every girl," she
laughed.
"I guess you're right but hey...I'm sweeter to you
than any other girl."
"I can live with that," she smiled.
"Let's call people and tell them we're having a baby,"
I said picking up the phone and starting dial Howie's number.
"OK you can call Howie and Kevin and I'll call Brian
and Nick. Oh and you can call your Mom and I'll call my parents," she
said.
"Sounds good babe," I said punching in the last numbers
to Howie's number. She smiled at me and then walked off into the kitchen.
I really can't believe we're going to have a little baby girl! I can't wait!
