Chapter 6
(Getting off the airplane in orlando.)
"Are you feeling better?" Christina asked worried
"A little." Celine said holding her back "What is going on?"
"We're going to Orlando remember?" Christina asked
"Yeah where's Kevin?" Celine asked
"He doesn't know we're here at all," Christina said "We'll let them know
when we get to the house."
"I'm gonna end up going into labor probably in this dreadful place!" Celine
sighed
"Don't worry," Christina said "You'll be ok."
They got in the car and drove to the House. It took more time than usual
because there was a benefit dinner going on with the Boys tonight, although
Celine and Christina had no idea. When they arrived at the house all of the
cars were gone.
"Where are they?" Celine asked
"No idea," Christian said "Tom where the heck are they?"
"They had some kind of dinner to go too." Tom replied "Something at the Hard
Rock."
"Great," Christina mumbled "Great."
(At the Hard Rock Cafe)
"I want to thank all of you guys for coming out tonight," Kevin said "It's
been a great year and thank you for all of your appreciated support, as most
of you know, I'd just like to announce today that some of you might have
watched Rosie, and yes that was my wife today on tv, and we are going to
be parents."
A lot of hearfelt sadness cries came.
"I know some might be upset I'm even married," Kevin said laughing "But My
wife is the best person in my life and is so overwhelmed with all of the
support you give us, She would love to be here but she's back home by now
resting."
"Hey everyone it's Nick," Nick started "Yes I'm getting married, but Hey
you still have Howie, AJ, and Bri-Bri, also thanks for all of your love and
support without you all we'd be the Dork Boys."
The crowd started to laugh. Time went on and the boys started talking and
eating their dinner. Suddenly Kevin's cell phone rang.
"Hello?" Kevin asked
"Kevin it's Christina we're in O and I swear she's like going to have this
kid of yours right now." Christina said fast
"Shit," Kevin said "We're forty five minutes from the hospital and do you
even know where it is here?"
"NO Does Tom?" Christina asked
"Yes tell him to take you." Kevin said "I'll be there as soon as possible."
"Okay see ya then." Christina said
Kevin hung up the phone. He couldn't find any of the guys. He frantically
searched for them. He saw Nick and ran towards him at full speed.
"NICK!" Kevin screamed
Nick jumped and all of the people looked at him and Kevin.
"WHAT the heck?" Nick said almost flipping out
"Celine is like ready to have the baby," Kevin said "Can one of you guys
like drive me because I'm to worried?"
"Let me check with the manager to make sure it's cool for me to go." Nick
said running to find them
Nick finally came back and said they had to make an annoucement before they
left.
"Hey everyone it's Nick again," Nick said "I'm sorry to do this to y'all
but Kevin and I have to leave because his wife is about to have their baby!"
Everyone started clapping. Kevin and Nick flew out as soon as possible.
They got in the car and started talking.
"How early is Celine if she has the baby?" Nick asked
Kevin was fidgeting in the seat "She's not due till next month." Kevin said
"That's not good is it?" Nick asked
"No it's not," Kevin said "Gosh I'm not ready to be a dad."
"Kevin you'll be fine." Nick said speeding up to 80 in a 65
"Don't go so fast!" Kevin shouted "you'll get a ticket."
"Calm down man." Nick said slowing down "I just sped up to get away from
those cars."
"Are people following us?" Kevin asked
"They were." Nick said getting off the expressway
They drove in silence for the rest of the trip. They had made it in a half
an hour instead of forty fives minues. Meanwhile Celine was in the hospital.
"Chris when is he coming?" Celine asked almost in tears
"Soon C-C soon." Christina said guiding her to the room
Nick and Kevin then came barging into the E.R.
"Yeah My wife she just like came in she's pregnant and she's like in labor
or something." Kevin said short of breath
"Yes right this way," The lady said "Follow me."
They listened and followed. Nick was scared because he was only 20 and had
never seen this before!
The nurse showed them the room where Celine was.
"Celine baby I'm here now." Kevin said running to her
"Kevin it hurts so bad," Celine said crying "Really bad."
"Come on just don't do anything until the doctor comes." Kevin said kissing
her forehead
Celine looked bad. She was so upset and looked ready to pass out from pain.
"So Mrs. Richardson," The doctor said walking in "You are how many months
along?"
"About 8 months." Celine about screamed
"Okay we'll let me see where you are and stuff." The doctor said checking
everything "It looks as if you will be having this baby here."
"No," Celine said "i don't want to have my child here."
"Celine you have no other choice," Kevin said clasping her hand in his tighter
"You'll be ok babe."
"Kevin but I don't." celine said screaming as she had a contraction
"Do you want us to leave?" Christina asked looking at Kevin
"I frankly do not care what you do," Kevin said sounding arrogant but he
wasn't "Just ask C-C"
"Do you want us to leave?" Nick asked Celine
"No don't go Nick," Celine said "Stay for Kevin and Christina stay for me."
Time went by and by. It was four am when finally things started to get going.
"Okay Celine," Dr. Jensen said "You're going to have to push with all of
your might."
"I can't even stay awake anymore." Celine mumbled
Christina looked at Celine with sympathy. She wasn't even ready to go thru
this at all! Hopefully the baby was ok since it was a month early. That's
all they hoped for.
"Okay come on push now." Dr. Jensen ordered
Celine pushed with all of her might. She looked at Kevin. Kevin felt horrible.
Why did she have to go thru this and not him.
"It's okay baby," Kevin said holding her hand "You'll be ok."
All of a sudden a cry was heard and Celine sounded relieved.
Christina and Nick first saw the baby! It was a girl! Wait, why wasn't the
doctor stopping?
"Come on Celine push harder," Dr. Jensen demanded "Come on you can do it."
Celine pushed and pushed with her might. What was going on? She already had
the baby. About thirty seconds later another cry was heard and Celine was
worried.
"What's going on?" Celine asked worried
"Nothing," Dr. Jensen said "Everything is fine."
"Good." Celine said "Can I see the baby?"
"Would you like to see your two baby girls?" Dr. Jensen asked
"My what?" Celine asked
"Your two daughters," Dr. Jensen said "Did you not know you were having two?"
"No," Celine said surprised "They never told me that at the doctors."
"Well the one is only three pounds and the other is four so they must stay
in the hospital till we can release them." Dr. Jensen stated
"So I'm gonna be in Olrando longer?" Celine asked almost in Tears
"Yes I'm sorry," Dr. Jensen said "You have a home here I pressume?"
"Yes we do." Kevin said "We'll be ok."
"Here are your girls." Dr. Jensen said handing one each to Kevin and Celine
Celine looked down at the one. She was beautiful. She had the color of Kevin's
hair and her green eyes glistened. She had the face of Celine but a nose
like Kevin. Celine just smiled.
"Baby look at her." Kevin said smiling ear to ear
"yeah she looks like me." Celine siad laughing
"But they have my hair and nose." Kevin said laughing
"So what are we going to name the other girl?" Celine asked
"I think you should name them Katia Anne and Kiara Marie." Christina said
"That's a lot of K's," Kevin stated "Katia and Kiara sound too much alike
but I want the name Katia for sure."
"How about Nicole?" Nick asked laughing
"NO," Celine said "Sorry don't like that name for a girl how about Hailey?"
"That's awesome." Christina said "Hailey Marie."
"That's a neat name." Kevin said "Fine then Hailey Marie and Katia Anne."
"I'm holding Hailey." Celine said laughing "Do we need them tested for identical
twins?"
"Yes I'm not sure if they are or not because they look very similar." Dr.
Jensen said "So Hailey Marie and Katia Anne?"
"Yes Richardson." Kevin said handing the babies back
All four of them helped Celine Get situated and showered. Kevin and Celine
had so much ahead of them. What was next?
"Thanks for being here," Celine smiled "You guys are the best."
"It was no problem," Christina said smiling back "Just promise I am the first
person to babysit them."
"As long as you aren't on tour." Celine said laughing
"Don't do ANYTHING without them until I can." Christina giggled
"Nick probably will torment them." Kevin joked
"They'll know Uncle Nick." Nick joked "I'll spoil them."
"You guys will have a kid in less than a year I am sure." Celine said "Unless
you don't want too."
"No time for any yet." Christina said "We're gonna hit the road."
"Thanks I need my rest." Celine said yawning
The rest of them left and Celine and Kevin both dozed off to sleep.
