YOU KNOW I’LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
(Back to the Main Base of the army)
“Captain Kevin
Richardson, the Army had totally take the verdict that the
fact of having committed an offence of yours will take yourself to be
fired,” said the announcer from the controller base, “And the punishment
will be announce tomorrow, located right here. Then, you will be send back
to General Wright’s base to be prison,”
Kevin said nothing
to that announces. He knows this would be happen from the
first he was tortured. Suddenly, the glass of the vacuum room was opened and
he was taken out.
“I really
don’t want to do this, Kevin. But I need to. By the order of the
generals,” Howie whispered at Kevin. Kevin didn’t answer anything.
(The Tangs’ Base)
“We will locate
the hydro-bomb at the Watch Tower. I’ll send the Timer Wire
through the clock. We’ll set the time 10:31pm. When the clock struck after
the number six, it’ll explode and destroy this New York. Remember, after
10:15, all of us must get out of this city. I’ll reserve a helicopter for
any of us whom needs to dedicate the job at the watch. All of you must be at
the top of the tower before 10:15. Clear?” said Fenbern.
“Okay. Fine. Let me set the time,” said Lysander.
“I’ll take care about the helicopter,” said Ceria.
“Who’ll reserve the bomb?” ask Mulligan.
“I will. Don’t worry about it,” said Tiger.
“Okay, you
reserve the helicopter. The others! You guys come with me!” said
Fenbern.
“Yes, sir!”
Mulligan went home when they finally finished the meeting. However, suddenly
Tiger and Lysander went to met Fenbern.
“Hey, Fenbern. I’d something to deal with you,” said Lysander.
“What?” ask Fenbern.
“What should we do about that Brian boy?” ask Lysander.
“Brian?”
“He’s the one who gave us the code,” said Tiger.
“Yeah. And
Mulligan met him once again when Kevin was taken away to the Main
Base,” Lysander continued.
“What?!! Mulligan met him once again?!!” Fenbern was shocked.
“Yeah,”
“Tiger,”
Fenbern turn to his brave worrier, “You know it’s dangerous for us.
Kill him. Both. Brian… and Mulligan,”
“Yes, sir,”
(Tomorrow that day)
The trumpets of
the armies were played through the air what makes a sign
about Kevin’s ceremony to be fired. One of the best captain would be fired
this morning. Thousand of people come to watch the ceremony.
At the middle of
the red field was Kevin wearing his army suit. At the right
side there stand the generals including Howie and General Wright. Far in
front of Kevin there stands Captain Wahlberg. He’ll take over the ceremony.
Once again the trumpets were played. Captain Wahlberg walk proudly towards
Kevin and stop when he reach just in front of Kevin. Kevin doesn’t say
a
word. Captain Wahlberg take out his sword and placed it at the bottom of the
Shoulder Board. Then, Captain Wahlberg scratches the board away. He did the
same to the other side. One by one Kevin’s suit being torn. Soon the badge
of the bravest army was been take out. Kevin try his best not to cry.
Howie cannot stand
it any further. He quickly ran to his office. He let
himself relax on the chair. He’d never expect this to be happen. Howie
take
a long breath, trying to find some peace in his mind. Suddenly Brian entered
the office.
“Brian, why don’t you knock first?” said Howie.
“Howie, he’s innocent,” Brian decides to tell the truth.
“I know. He won't do that. I believe it too,” Howie snorts.
“This is different,
Howie. I want to tell the truth today. I gave the code
to the Tangs,” said Brian.
“WHAT?!!”
“I gave the
code to the Tangs, Howie. I annoyed Kevin and it’s all because
of me who wants to get back my rank. When I come to Kevin’s office, I search
for the code and then give it to the Tangs,” Brian soon admits it. Howie
stands up and glares at Brian.
“Howie, I…”
“SHUT UP!!”
Howie shout on Brian, “DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!! DO YOU
KNOW WHAT HAVE YOU TAKE?!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO GET BACK YOUR
RANK?!!”
“I don’t
know!!” Brian try his best not to cry, “I thought it’s just a
personal mail code. The man who ask me to search it said that too,”
“The man who ask you to search it?” Howie stares at Brian, “Who’s he?”
“The one whom
Kevin attacked when he’d transferred to the Main Base,” said
Brian.
“Mulligan,” Howie recognized that man, “I’ll go get him,”
“I’d
annoyed Kevin. I want to die. I don’t want to watch him suffering
anymore,” Brian said in tears. Howie turns to Brian.
“What? After
you annoyed him you want to die just like that?! How dare
you!!” Howie become really mad.
“What should I do?!” Brian ask.
“Follow me!!” Howie fetch his gun and pull Brian’s hand.
The ceremony soon was over. Kevin will be send back to his base. But before
that, he’ll stay at the Main Base just for a couple of hours. Suddenly,
a
soldier comes into Kevin’s chamber.
“Captain… I mean… Richardson, there’s a call for you,”
“Thanks,” Kevin stands up and walk to the telephone booth.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Kevin. Nick’s here,”
“Nick?”
“Yeah, Kev, I’ve something to tell you,”
“What?”
“I… umm… I’m going to Switzerland. To have my journal lesson,”
“Okay,”
“I’m sorry, Kev. I’m really, really sorry,”
“It’s okay,”
Kevin put down the phone.
