Chapter 7
I was baffled. The applause boggled my mind and I looked around.
"Stop looking around. It's you, Sam. The 'Best Male Newcomer' of this year," Justin said once again. Still feeling unbelievable, I stood up from the seat and walked to up to the stage.
Brian~
As I believed, she did it! She was not a let down.
All our efforts and hard work paid off at last. Oblivious to what was happening,
she seemed shocked, on the other hand happy. Her joyous was visible on her
face.
Steadily, she walked up the stage and received the
award from the presenter. Then, she said her thanks.
"Well, I still haven't recovered from the shock and
I am over the moon now. I would like to say my thanks to my producer, Kurt,
Suzy, Agnes, Mr. Cole, Ryan who has been by my side, you - my beloved fans
and…"
The audience then shouted,
"Thanks Brian!" They should be her fans I
assumed.
"Of course I will. Thanks, Brian for being the pole
of my career and the trust you have given me," she threw a sweet smile towards
me and I returned it.
"Hard work, harvest, celebrations. And it'll start
all over again. My love in music will never fade. Thank you."
What a wonderful speech!

Today was the most memorable day. Not only that I got my first award but
the BSB also won both of their nominated awards. Tonight we were the big
winner. Tonight would be the treasure trove in my heart.
We walked out from the hall - all feeling contented - only to find out that
the crowd of fans was still there. I was hemmed in on all sides by human
bodies. Randy and Ryan made a way in the crowd to let us walked through.
The fans were so high that several times I thought they were going to swamp
us.
As we stepped into the car, the guys heaved a sigh of relief.
"Wow, the fans nowadays are getting crazier," complained Ryan.
"That's a good sign, isn't it?" asked Kevin.
"Yeah, man. I love the feelings when the girls' bodies touched mine," said
AJ with a grin.
"Look, Brian," Nick pointed out the window. Everyone followed the direction.
There was a big banner in the crowd, on it stated,
"Brian and Sam, you have our blessings. The unusual love."
"Oh, man. They thought the two of you are gays," exclaimed Nick. I turned
to Brian and saw paleness on his face.
Unaware of Brian's unhappiness, Nick continued,
"This reminds me of some articles I read. They also wrote that you two have
an unusual relationship. Oh, man. They are so ignorant."
"Nick, just shut up," AJ stopped him. Now, he realized he had said something
wrong.
"I mean they don't know the real situation. That's why they misunderstood."
"What's the difference? Sharing love is probably the most valuable and meaningful
experience a person can ever have," Ryan added.

The time was only 5:30 am. I decided to have a walk in the park. It being
a weekday, I did not expect many people so early. In my sports attires, I
took the lift down. On its way down, the lift stopped at fifth floor. I lowered
my head, as I didn't want anyone to recognized me. I was determined to have
a quiet morning. When someone stepped into the lift, I tried in vain to turn
away. However, that someone seemed to recognized me.
"Good morning, Sam," said a familiar voice. Out of curiosity, I looked up
and to my surprise it was Justin of N'sync.
"Hi hi!" I replied.
"You seemed to have a desire to 'camouflage' yourself."
"No, no. It's just that it's a beautiful morning and I am thinking of having
it on my own."
"So, you mean that I am disturbing you?"
"No, no. Of course not."
"Just kidding. Don't be so serious," he said with a cheeky face. I smiled
back.
"You live here?" I asked.
"Yeah. On the fifth floor. You and Brian are living on the seventh, right?"
"How do you know that?"
"Heard it from my manager."
"I see."
"Where are you going so early?"
"Just feel like having a walk in the park."
"Me too! Care if I join?"
"Come along."
"Where is Brian?"
"Brian? He is still sleeping like a baby," I said as I imagined that big
baby sleeping soundly in his cozy bed. I smiled at the thought of it.
