Chapter 9
Sam~
Something was wrong with Brian nowadays. He had been keeping his distance from me. But I know he still loves me. If he preferred it this way, I would give in. As long as he still loves me.
With lesser time to spend with him, most of the time, I would go for a walk in the park. In the park, I discovered a spot where I fell in love with immediately. To the right was where the stream came from. Two trees formed an arch, making it looked as if the stream was flowing out of a cave. The entire spot was lonely and I felt at perfect peace.
More than once in my ramble within the park, unexpectedly I met up with Justin. I doubted that it was coincidence that brought him where no one else was brought to before. After the first 'coincidence', I felt that the 'coincidence' would not occur for the second time. Yet it did and even third.
Soon the gap between us lessened. Never did I expect that we would become close friends. A kindred spirit I must say.

Brian~
Sam was talking on the phone again. I tried to ask
her something and she shoved me away. How could she do this to me?
Last night I asked Ryan who Sam had been spending
time with. I couldn't believe Sam had been very close to Justin of N'sync.
For him, Sam neglected me. For him, she had the heart to leave me alone.
When she finally hung up the phone, I had a talk with
her.
"Sam, you still love me?"
"Of course I do."
"But don't you think our love is getting
mundane?"
"Brian, a staid love is an everlasting love. Not all
love has fireworks all the time."
"We have to communicate with each other. I want to
know what you are thinking. Nobody can read anyone else's mind. We always
presume that we know what each other think and feel. Maybe in time we might
be able to predict or sense each other's thought but it's never perfect and
takes time to develop."

Sam~
I was having tea at Justin house.
"Do you really love Brian?"
"I do. There is no doubt about it."
"Are you happy?"
"Loving someone means you should be ready to experience heartache and happiness.
That's the risk and that's the reward."
"Brian is so lucky."
"But he doesn't like it when people say he is a gay," I sighed, "he is
beleaguered by critisms."
"I have a solution."
"What?"
"Don't worry. You'll know soon."
"Whatever," I thought he meant nothing of his words.
"Don't look so gloomy."
"Don't dwell over my problems. What about you? You have any sweetheart?"
"Sure. But I guess she doesn't know about it."
"What does she look like?"
"A demure pure looking girl with a forever smile constantly reflected on
her face."
"Really? Introduce her to me. Then, I can give you my opinions."
"You will meet her one day."
"Let her know your feelings towards her."
"I will. Hey, N'sync will be having a musical play."
"That's great! I guess it will be fun."
"Yeah. But we're still sort of one actress."
"Actress? Sorry, I can't help you."
"You can."
"But I am a guy."
"But I think you would look great as a girl."
"Huh?"
"Do you mind? Cross-dressing?"
"Sure I can do it?"
"Think about it. And don't forget to ask your manager."
"Sure."

"Brian, can I?"
"A musical play?"
"Yup."
"With N'sync?"
"Yup."
"You really wish to join?"
"I'll love to. Let me try. I had mulled it over for
a long time and I made the decision to commit."
"As long as you're happy, you'll have my consent."
