Chapter 5
A Couple Days Later Back in Colorado 10:15PM

I called Jason a little while ago saying I got back and he wanted me to come over at around 10:30 so I'm walking over to his house now. I've missed him so much. I wonder what it's going to be like when I'm gone for 4 whole months. It's going to be hard I know that.
I walked up the driveway and up to the door. I rang his doorbell and waited until he opened it. There in front of my was the love of my life. He was in khaki shorts and a blue T-shirt. He smiled at me and wrapped me into a big hug.
"Baby I've missed you so much!" he said into my ear. I laughed and said, "I've missed you too."
He pulled away from me and kissed me gently. I kissed him back wrapping my arms around his neck enjoying the moment.
"Hey you two! Don't do that out in public," I heard Mr. McNeal say. I pulled away from Jason and turned a little pink. Jason groaned and turned around.
"Dad can you please leave us alone? She just got back from New York," Jason said.
"Then why don't you two go in the living room or your room. You haven't even invited her in yet," Mr. McNeal pointed out. It was true I was still half way outside.
"Oh I'm sorry sweetie...would you like to step into this beautiful house of mine and join me in my room?" Jason asked me with a cheesy smile. I giggled and said, "Why of course kind sir."
He smiled at me and took my hand leading me into the house and then closing the door behind him. We climbed the stairs and then entered his room.
"So how was your trip?" Jason asked closing the door behind him and then sitting next to me on his bed.
"It was good," I smiled.
"Oh yeah you won that contest," he said.
"Yep and I can't wait," I said excited.
"You can't wait to get away from me?" he pouted sticking out his bottom lip.
"No! I'm gonna miss you so much when I leave," I said kissing his cheek.
"I'm gonna miss you too," he said seriously. "I know what you can do so we BOTH don't have to miss each other."
"What is that?" I asked curiously.
"Don't go," he said simply.
"Don't go? Jason! I want to go on this tour more than anything! It's my dream and it's finally going to come true."
Jason sighed and looked at me sadly, "This tour is more important than me? More important that our relationship?"
"I didn't say that Jason. All I'm saying is that this is a once in a lifetime thing and I can't pass it up. I want you to be happy for me."
"How can I be happy when I know I won't be able to hold you in my arms for 4 whole months?" he asked. I frowned and said, "Just think of what will be coming home to you."
"I just want to think about what is already home and with me Danielle," he said.
"Jason please...this isn't that big of a deal. I'll only be gone for a little while and then I'll be back home and I'll be yours forever…or however long we're together."
"I hope we're together forever, I love you so much," he said taking my hand and squeezing it affectionately.
"I love you too," I said softly.
"All right...I'll be happy for you if you do me some favors," he said.
"How many favors?" I questioned.
"3," he said.
"OK what are they?"
"1 you have to call, email, or write me every single week," he said.
"Of course I'm going to do that," I smiled.
"Number 2, send me a present or card on our anniversary since you'll be gone on our 4 year anniversary," he said a little sadly. I frowned and said, "I forgot about that."
"About our anniversary?"
"No, I know when that is but...I totally forgot it was going to be when I am on tour," I said sadly.
"It's OK...we'll figure something out," he said giving me a warm smile.
"OK," I smiled back at him. "I'll send you tons of presents for our anniversary to make up for it."
"Sounds good to me!"
I giggled and then said, "What's your last favor?"
"You have to kiss me right now," he said.
"I HAVE to kiss you?" I teased.
"Yes, you HAVE to," he said.
"I don't know about that," I laughed.
"Ah come on! I haven't received that many kisses from you in a while," he pouted. I giggled and kissed his lips lightly.
"That's all I get?" he asked.
"Yep that's all you get," I said starting to get up.
"No no no no no! That's unacceptable young lady!" he said grabbing my arm and pulling me onto the bed. I laughed as he started to kiss my face all over. I love it when we have moments like this. It's really going to be hard to be away from him for 4 months. I can barely be away from him for a couple of days but things will work out just fine...I hope.
