Chapter 6
A Week Later at the Airport
Danielle's View
Right now Darlene, Colleen, Jason, Brian, Nick, Howie, AJ, Kevin and I are all at the airport getting ready to board the plane to Germany. That would be where the first concert would take place.
Colleen and Darlene were off to the side talking to each other excitedly, Brian and Nick were talking to each other and goofing around, AJ was sleeping in one of the chairs across from me, and Kevin and Howie are talking with some manager type people. I was sitting next to Jason with my head on his shoulder and my hand resting in his.
"You excited?" he asked me softly.
"Yeah I am," I smiled.
"I'm gonna miss you baby," he said. I looked up and him and kissed his chin, "I'm gonna miss you too. I'll be home soon."
"I'll be waiting for you," he smiled at me and then wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close.
"Maybe you could come on tour for a couple of days. You know for the weekend or something," I suggested.
"Maybe…we'll see sweetie," he sighed.
"Flight 149 to Frankfort Germany is now boarding," came a female voice on the intercom.
"All right people! Lets get going!" Kevin ordered picking up his carry on bags and heading down the tunnel to the plane. I sighed and got up from my chair getting my things together. Jason stood next to me and waited as I put my things together. I stood up and looked up at him. He slightly smiled at me and wrapped me in a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him as tight as I could. This would be the last time I would be in his arms for a while.
"I don't want to leave you," I whispered in his ear getting a little choked up. I was going to cry. I could feel the tears well up in my eyes.
"You're gonna have lots of fun…I'll be here waiting for you," he said quietly. He loosened up his grip around me and looked into my eyes.
"I love you so much," he said. Now the tears began to escape my eyes.
"I love you too," I said.
"Don't cry," he said wiping my tears away with his thumb. "Just think about how much I love you and what you'll be coming back to. I'm not going to leave you or anything until we get married."
I slightly laughed at what he said. He says that to me all the time. He always tells me that he would never leave me or die until we're happily married and have a family. I think it's so sweet how he says that.
"There's that smile I love so much," he smiled at me. I smiled up at him kissed his lips lightly.
"Now just
remember that even though I'm not with you in person…remember that I'm
with you right here and here," he said pointing at my head and then my
heart.
"I'll remember those wise words Great One," I said smiling. He lightly
laughed and kissed my forehead.
"Lets go lover girl!" Colleen said with her hands on her hips and taping her foot.
"I'm coming hang on," I said. I then turned to Jason and hugged him again.
"Call me OK?" he said.
"You know I will," I smiled and then bent down and picked up my backpack and put it on my shoulder. I looked at him one last time and then started to make my way over to Colleen and Darlene. Before I could reach them Jason grabbed my arm and spun me around. He put my face in his hands and kissed me tenderly on the lips.
"That was one last present for you," he smiled at me.
"Thank you very much kind sir," I grinned.
"Now go fall in love with those 5 hot guys you like so much," he said pushing me toward Darlene and Colleen.
"I won't fall in love them but if you insist," I giggled.
"I was kidding!" he laughed.
"I know you were," I smiled.
"Dani come on!" Darlene whined.
"Sorry I'm coming," I said.
"I love you my sweet rose," he said softly.
"I love you too…bye," I said kissing him on the lips one more time and then started to back away from him.
"Bye," he said and then stuffed his hands in his pockets and watched me walk off. Once I got to Colleen and Darlene they grabbed my arm and pulled me to the tunnel.
"I'm coming! Don't be so pushy!" I said shaking their hands off my arms.
"If we didn't grab you, you would have stayed and never left. You're gonna see Jason soon…that sure was a long goodbye," Colleen complained.
"You would have done the same thing and you know it!"
"I guess so but I didn't do it now did I?" she asked walking onto the plane. I rolled my eyes and walked on after her. We took our seats that we were assigned to and waited as the other passengers boarded. We were in first class and let me tell you that this is heaven! It's not like coach at all!
I put my backpack on the floor and then looked out the window. I was in a window seat. I love window seats so I was lucky I was assigned here. Just then somebody sat down next to me. I turned my head to find Brian smiling at me, "Hello little lady."
"Hello little man," I smiled.
"Little man?" he asked lightly laughing.
"I call all my guy friends that and I think it suits you," I said.
"Thanks," he said sarcastically.
"It isn't bad and little lady isn't the best name either," I said.
"Yeah well if you call me little man then I'll call you little lady," he smiled at me. He has such a cute smile!
"Fine by me," I smiled at him.
"So…Danielle right?"
"Yeah that's me," I said.
"Ok just checkin'. I didn't want to get the wrong name. I already talked to Darlene and Colleen so I figured you were Danielle and plus I recognize you. You are the contest winner," he said.
"Yeah and we have met before," I pointed out.
"When?" he asked.
"Hello? Like a week ago," I laughed.
"Oh! I remember that but I thought you meant like at a concert or something," he said.
"Sure," I laughed.
"It's true!" he smiled.
"OK OK I believe you!" I smiled.
"Anyway…who was that guy you were smooching out there with?" he asked giving me a cheesy grin.
"That was Jason, my boyfriend," I said a little shyly.
"Ah yes! The infamous boyfriend of Danielle Anderson. I remember you mentioning him when we met," he said.
"Wow you remember something!" I joked.
"Ha ha! Good one!" he said. "Do you know the punishment for teasing or joking the Great One?"
"The Great One? Where?" I asked.
"See now you did it again!" he said.
"I didn't do anything little man," I said innocently. This was pretty fun!
"Oh now you've done it! You're gonna get the punishment times three!" he said and then started to tickle me non-stop.
"Stop! I'm ticklish!" I screeched.
"Hehe I can tell!" he laughed continuing his actions.
"AH! Stop it!" I laughed. People were looking at us like we were nuts.
"Why should I?" he asked stopping but not taking his hands away.
"AH HA! You stopped!" I said.
"Thanks for pointing that out!" he said and then started to tickle me. I started to laugh hysterically as did Brian. Finally a sterwdas came up to us and told us to quiet down and to buckle up.
"Busted," Brian mumbled as the woman walked away. I was still lightly laughing while putting on the seat belt.
"You know I like you Danielle. You're a pretty cool girl," Brian smiled at me. I slightly blushed and then said, "I'm glad I live up to your expectations."
He smiled at me and then leaned forward to talk to Nick in front on him. This is going to be so fun! Brian and I are already getting along great! I can tell we're going to be really good friends. I can't wait to see what happens on this tour.
