Chapter 7

Brian's View

I really like Danielle. She's a very nice and funny girl. I know for sure that we are going to become great friends. We're already on the road to that actually.

Right now we just got to our hotel and we're waiting for Kevin to come over to give us our room assignments. I either want to room with Nick, Danielle or one of the other girls so I can get to know them better. I would only get to room with one of them for a little while because my girlfriend, Elizabeth, is coming on tour in like a month or so. Maybe a little less than that. She was going to let me know when she was coming on tour with us.

"OK People! Let me see who's with who," Kevin said walking over to us and looking at his piece of paper.

"AJ and Sophia are together. By the way AJ, Sophia called the hotel and left a message for you saying she'll be here later tonight," Kevin informed AJ. AJ got this huge smile on his face, "All right!"

"Now, I have my own room, Howie is with Nick, Darlene and Colleen have their room and Brian and Danielle are rooming together," he said and the turned to Danielle. "You can have your own room if you want or you could room with Colleen and Darlene. It would be a little small though."

"Nah that's all right," she said smiling at Kevin.

"OK, go to your rooms and meet back down here at," Kevin began and looked at his watch, "About 2 and a half hours."

"What is the exact time so I won't be late and then you won't bite my head off?" Nick asked.

"7:30," Kevin said. Everyone then picked up their luggage and headed over to the elevator. I picked up my bags and walked over to Danielle who was putting her backpack on her back.

"Hey there little lady!" I said.

"Oh hey little man," she smiled at me. She has a very nice smile.

"Do you need help with anything?" I asked.

"Nope I think I got it," she said picking up her last bag and putting it on her shoulder.

"Well, if you need anything I'm right here. You're gonna me my little sis," I said giving her a goofy grin and swinging my arm around her shoulder.

"Wow! Lucky me! The sister of Brian Littrell!" she exclaimed.

I lightly laughed and stepped onto the elevator. She followed right behind me. Before I could press the number to our floor she smacked my hand away and said, "I get to press the button!"

"No! I always get to press the button!" I said.

"Nope, I always get to push the button and all my friends know it," she said pressing the button.

"Hey! I was supposed to press it!" I pouted.

"Too bad," she shrugged.

"You are about to get punished again," I said playfully.

"So?"

"You're going to get it and when I do get you...you won't know what hit you," I said.

"Sure Bri!" she laughed. Before I could say anything the doors opened and she walked out into the hall. Nick and Howie were already at the end of the hall opening their room and I just heard someone else close their door. I followed Danielle and looked at all the door numbers as we passed them.

"Which room do we have?" she asked turning around to face me.

"28D," I replied looking at our room key.

"It's right here," she said pointing to the next door up. I put the key in the hole and turned it. It opened and we were faced with a HUGE room. The beds were king sized and I knew that I was going to have a blast jumping on them later tonight.

"Woah! This is so cool!" Danielle said walking into the room and dropping her bags on the floor. I walked in after her and put my bags next to hers. I looked up at her and saw her take her backpack off and put it next to the bed.

"This place is huge," she said.

"They will probably be bigger later on," I said.

"Are you serious?" she asked me.

"Yep!"

"Cool! I'm gonna have so much fun on this trip," she smiled.

"Tours are a lot of fun but you'll probably be tired half the time until you get used to the early wake up calls," I said walking over to the bed and sitting down.

"Early wake up calls? Like how early?" she asked sitting next to me.

"Oh like 5, 5:30 sometimes even 4," I said laying back on the bed.

Danielle's View

"That is way too early for me! Roosters don't even get up that early!" I complained.

"You'll get used to it later on," he said. I looked back at him and I saw him grinning at me with his arms under his head.

"Comfy?" I asked.

"Very," he smiled. I got up and walked across the room. He looked at me curiously as I ran over to the bed and jumped on him.

"OW! Danielle dude get off my stomach!" he laughed.

"Why should I? Now I'm comfortable," I said smiling at him. I was laying straight across his stomach.

"You're so heavy!" he complained playfully.

"No I'm not! I weigh way less than you!" I said.

"I'm a man!"

"A man? You're a man? I thought you were a 5 year old," she teased.

"A 5 year old? Oh now you've done it! You don't call The Great One a 5 year old!" he said and pushed me over. He then started to tickle me.

Brian's View

"AH! Stop! I can't stand getting tickled!" she screeched. I laughed and began to tickle her stomach.

"Hehe stop it Brian!" she screamed. I laughed and then stopped looking at her panting. She was trying to recover from laughing. She sat up and smacked me in the stomach. I squinted and grabbed my stomach and then leaned over and fell onto the ground.

"I didn't hit you that hard!" Danielle giggled looking at me on the floor. I looked up at her and smiled, "Yes you did! My stomach is permanently bruised! Kiss it and make it feel better."

"Kiss your stomach? No way!" she said scrunching up her nose.

"I was kidding and I knew you would say that. You would only kiss Jason's stomach huh?" I teased. She nodded and slightly frowned. I looked at her curiously and then got up off the floor and sat next to her on the bed.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking at her look at her lap.

"I miss him," she said softly.

"Aw..." I said and then wrapped my arm around her. "Don't worry little one. Your big bro is here and I'll make you feel better. Don't worry about him. I could have him come on tour for a while."

She looked up at me and smiled, "You would do that?"

"Anything for my buddy," I smiled at her.

"We only like met like a week ago and you're acting like we've known each other forever," she said.

"So?" he shrugged. "Usually I'm shy when I meet new people but you're just easy to talk to. I guess it's because we're a lot alike and we can relate with each other on our personality and plus...I think we're going to become good friends and I figured we could start being really friends now."

"That sounds good to me!" she smiled.

"Glad you agree with me," I said.

"Like you said we are a lot alike," she said.

"That's right," I smiled. "And like I said before we'll just get Jason to come on tour with us for a while."

"Thanks," she said.

"It's no problem...I know what it's like to be away from someone you love. So can I ask you some questions?" I asked her.

"Sure...ask anything you like," she said.

"Cool, so how long have you two been together?"

"3 years but our 4 year anniversary is coming up and before then we knew each other since kindergarten, actually before that. We live in the same neighborhood so we live really close and we used to play together when we were kids. We were really good friends before he asked me out."

"How long have you liked him?"

"Whenever I started to notice that boys were cute," she laughed and then said, "I guess a long time."

I smiled at her and then said, "Do you think you two are meant for each other?"

She looked at me for a second trying to think of her answer and then she said, "Yeah, I think that we might be meant for each other. I mean we've been together for a long time and we love each other a whole lot."

I nodded and then she said, "How long have you been with Elizabeth?"

"Um...about 2 years. She's a great person to hang out with and I liked her the first time I met her. I couldn't wait to get to know her and everything," I smiled.

"Ah how cute! Do you love her?" she asked.

"Yeah...I think I do, we've gotten pretty close and she's talking about getting married but I'm really not ready for that."

"She's talking about marriage?" she asked a little shocked.

"Yep...I was really shocked when she asked me about it. I didn't think she was even thinking about something like that. I thought she was happy with our relationship right now."

"She isn't happy with it?"

"No, she is but it's just that she wants to put more into the relationship. She wants us to go to the next level and I told her I just wasn't ready for that yet and surprisingly she didn't get mad. She just said whenever I was ready was fine for her but that she just wanted me to know that she thinks we should go the next level."

"She seems like a very understanding person."

"She is and that's why I love her," I said.

"Ah...my big bro in love," she said poking me in the stomach playfully.

"I should be saying that to you! My little sis is in love!" I said wrapping my arms around her and giving her a big bear hug.

"It's puppy love," I smiled. She wiggled out of my arms and laughed at me.

"What? You don't like big hugs?" I asked.

"No, I like them but you were about to suffocate me!" she laughed.

"Oh! Sorry about that," I laughed as well. For the rest of the time remaining we just talked and played around with each other. Danielle is so fun to hang around with. Nick is fun too but Danielle is right up next to him. I'm glad she won that contest. I got a chance to meet a wonderful girl and I'm really happy about that. This tour is going to be a blast with her around.
