Chapter 8
Darlene's View
"Dude! Look at this place!" I exclaimed throwing my bags on the ground and looking around at mine and Colleen's room. We get to stay together for the whole tour. Miss Lucky over in the next room gets to spend the whole time with Brian. She's probably in heaven right now! At least it isn't my Nicky she's staying with!
"I know! This is so cool!" Colleen said dropping her bags on the floor and then jumping on the bed.
"Does this place have a pool?" Colleen asked.
"I don't know...I mean you would think they would. Look at this place and plus Germany has pools to ya know!" I said.
"I can't wait to talk with Nick," she said excitedly.
"Me neither!"
"I wonder if we should go over to his room," I said sitting on one of the beds.
"I don't want him to think that we're obsessed," Colleen said sitting next to me.
"But we are obsessed," I laughed. Colleen looked at me and smiled, "I guess you're right!"
Just then somebody knocked on the door. I got up and walked over to the door and opened it slowly.
"Hey!" Nick greeted us.
"Oh my...Hi!" I said in shock. I didn't expect him to be coming to our room.
"Can I come in?" he asked politely.
"Of course," I said moving to the side to let him pass. I closed the door and walked over to the bed where he was sitting next to Colleen. She was smiling so widely.
"So you're Colleen and you're Darlene right?" he asked looking at the both of us.
"Yep that's us," Colleen smiled.
"Great! I thought I would forget your names," he sighed in relief. He's so cute!
"So whatcha doing here?" I asked.
"Oh...I went to go talk with Rok but when I walked into the room he was wrestling with Danielle. I didn't want to bother them," he laughed lightly.
"Wrestling? Oh that girl! I can't wait to tell Jason what she's up to," I smiled.
"Darlene! Give her a break!" Colleen said in shock.
"I was only kidding! I wouldn't do anything to hurt their relationship and plus they're just playing. They aren't doing anything bad," I said,
"Yet," Nick laughed. We laughed with him and then Colleen asked, "Does this place have a pool?"
"Of course! Doesn't almost every hotel?" he asked looking at her.
"I told you!" I teased.
"Shut up," Colleen whined. I just stuck my tongue out at her.
"How long have you two known each other?" Nick asked us.
"A long time! I think Kindergarten," I said. Colleen nodded in agreement.
"Cool...so all of you are like best friends?"
"Yep," Colleen smiled.
"We're like sisters," I said.
"Yeah I can kinda tell by the way you two act toward one another," he laughed.
"And how do we act toward one another?" I asked.
"Like sisters duh!" he joked. "Just kidding...you two just act...I can't explain it."
"Too many thoughts?" Colleen asked.
"Yeah...hey was that supposed to be mean?" he asked looking at her. Colleen and I just started laughing.
"OK! Being the only blonde here sucks! I need Brian or Danielle in here with me!" Nick whined.
"We're sorry it's just that you're funny!" I giggled.
"Is that good or bad?" he asked.
"It's a good thing Nick," I said patting his shoulder.
"Good!" he said. "Anyway...it's almost time to go and if I want to be on time I should go get ready. I don't feel like getting killed by Kevin today."
"All right...thanks for stopping by," I smiled at him.
"No problem," he said standing up and walking over to the door. "I'll see you two later tonight...bye."
"Bye," we said in unison. Once he closed the door Colleen and I looked at each other and smiled widely. This tour is going to make us the happiest girls alive. I swear I can't get any happier right now. I mean come on! I was just sitting and talking with Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys!
