Chapter 10
"Oh, my god! How long have you guys been here?" I said loudly and grabbing my chest almost having a heart attack. "Now aren't my five favorite guys gonna give me hug?" I asked looking at the five pairs of eyes on me. The guys all looked at each other and at once, they all hugged me. "It's great to see you guys." I said as I hugged Brian. "And why the hell did you have to scare me like that?"
"It was Rok's idea." AJ said pointing towards Brian. Brian just looked around like he had nothing to do with it. "Linds, we saw the show. You were great." AJ said standing next to me.
"Thanks." I said looking towards Nick. He was talking about something with Howie. Then all the guys started talking and I kinda didn't pay attention. My eyes stayed on Nick. Why wasn't he talking to me? I felt kinda ignored. All of a sudden he turned and looked at me straight in the eyes. I smiled widely as did he. At that moment there was only one thing I could do. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck in a huge hug. He squeezed me tightly around the waist. I could tell all the guys were watching, but I didn't care. For some reason I felt a tear slide down my cheek. I think it was a tear for happiness. Just then the door to my dressing room opened. I felt Nick loosen his grip and I let go to see Todd in my doorway.
"Oh sorry, guys. I just wanted to talk to you, Linds, but it can wait." He said softly and exited the room.
"Who's that?" AJ asked nudging my side. I nudged him back and then looked at Nick. I think he wanted to know the answer to the question AJ asked. I didn't want to get into it, so I grabbed Nick's right hand with my left and laced my fingers through his. I then looked up at him and smiled as he did the same.
~On My Bus~
"So, tell me guys what's happening while you're here with me?" I asked as I sat down in the entertainment area with the guys spread out around me.
"Well, we're staying with you for the rest of the tour just to chill. You're pretty much stuck with us for the next few days." AJ explained.
"Yay." I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes. Then my cell phone rang and guess who was sitting on it. "Brian, is your ass ringing?" I asked making everyone laugh. He reached under his butt and grabbed the phone.
"Hello?" he asked in a girly voice.
"Ummm... can I speak to Lindsay?" a male voice asked.
"Yeah, hold on." Brian said in his normal voice passing the phone towards me.
"What's up?" I asked taking the phone from Brian.
"Hey Lindsay, it's Todd."
"Oh hey Todd. Why are you calling from the other bus?" I asked slightly laughing and leaving to find a more private place to talk.
"Well, it seems as though this is the only way I can talk to you."
~The Guys~
"Damn, I'm tired, can't wait till we get to the hotel." AJ said stretching out and glancing towards Nick. By the look on Nick's face he knew what he was thinking about. "Dude, go talk to her." Nick looked up at him, sighed, and left the room.
"Linds?" I heard outside my bunk.
"Todd, can we finish this tomorrow. I'm not really feeling well." I lied.
"Yeah, sure, no problem." He said reluctantly. "Hope you feel better.
I opened up the curtain to see Nick's beautiful blue eyes staring into mine. "Is everything OK, Nick?" I asked putting the phone down.
"Yeah, I was just looking for you. Can we talk? I just wanna catch up." Nick said in a soft voice.
"But of course." I said hopping out of my bunk and leading Nick to a mini sofa near the kitchen area of the bus. "So, what's on your mind?" I said sitting down and facing him.
~1 Hour Later~
"OK everyone, we're here." Doug, the bus driver said loudly so everyone on the bus could hear. The guys stretched out and began to walk off the bus. They all stopped dead in their tracks as the approached the sofa Nick and I shared.
"Guys, look at this." Howie said pointing to our sleeping bodies on the sofa. We were laying down on our sides, but I was in front of Nick and he had his arms around my waist.
"We should get the camera!" AJ suggested.
"No, let them sleep." Kevin countered and left the bus. Howie followed him out of the bus. Brian and AJ decided to search for a camera.
They found one and instantly snapped a few shots of us on the couch.
"They'll thank us some day." Brian said laughing a little.
~Next Night @ 7~
The guys and I walked into this get together Lou was having. He called last night and said the guys and I had to be there.
"Hey, can I have a Sprite? Thank you." I said to the man behind the bar. I split up from the guys 'cuz Lou wanted to show me around to some people. I have never really met anyone else who belongs to the record label. I got tired and broke away from Lou to grab a drink. I began walking around sipping my drink, wen I noticed Nick and the guys sitting at a table with a few females. I sighed and began walking towards them, but stopped when I saw what this one girl was doing to Nick. This brunette glanced at me, smiled, and placed her hand on his thigh. Then she leaned over towards him and looked like she was going to say something into his ear. "I can't see this!"
