Chapter 6
3 months later-
"Princess, get your butt down here NOW!!!! The bus is leaving in like 5
minutes!!! Do I have to send Nick up there to get you!!!??" AJ yelled at
me. It had been three months since I had been living with AJ, I think I was
finally getting used to living with a guy and now they were starting the
American leg of their tour. Nick and I have gotten pretty close, he and I
tell each other just about anything, we love each other to death but it's
strictly platonic! We couldn't date, it would just be to weird.
"hmmimdon'tmmhmmwannammmgetgoingmmmmhmm" came my muffled reply. Then I heard
my bedroom door open and someone come over to the side of my bed, I saw blond
locks falling over the face of whoever was standing there and knew instantly
it was Nick.
"Come on precious, ya have to get up, we're leaving, I swear, I'll take extreme
measures if I have to!!"
"Go away Nick, I'm not getting up!!" I yelled
"Fine, have it your way" and with that he yanked the covers away from my
grasp and tossed me over his shoulder. I was kicking and screaming for him
to let me go, but with no avail. I then started to laugh and asked him about
my bags, he said Kev had gotten them and they were in the bus already as
well as my pillow and my quilt. (I had refused to sleep on a sleeping bag
so they told me to bring what I must but I had to provide it for myself,
they wouldn't do it for me) Finally Nick dropped me with a loud thud onto
a bunk. He and I were both laughing so much that our eyes were starting to
water. We stopped laughing and I asked him where his bunk was and
what-do-ya-know, it was right across the isle from mine!!
"So, I guess you need a tour of the bus huh babe??" Nick asked me.
"Yuppers, I think I need one if I want to survive this trip!!"
"Okay, well, behind door number one…" Nick started in his best Bob Barker
impersonation voice.
2 and a half months later-
FINALLY!!! After two and a half months with all of the guys I'm ready to
go home and take a break!! That is exactly what I'm getting too!! The guys
get a week off starting in three days and I can't wait!! Oh and to make it
all the better my 17th birthday is coming up this week too!!! Yup, I turn
17 on Wednesday, December 26th!!! Which explains the break huh?? It's their
Christmas vacae!! Bri and Kev are going back to Kentucky, AJ and Howie and
I are going back to Florida and Nick is going to LA to be with his family.
The night of my birthday AJ is going to fly me out to Brian's and then on
the 27th Brian and Kevin are going to drive me to Clarksville, Tennessee
so I can see my old friends. Then on the 29th AJ, Howie and Nick are going
to fly in and stay at my old house with Kevin, Brian and I and then on the
1st of January we start the tour again. A lot going on huh?? I can't wait
to see Aubrey though!!!
"Hey cutie, whacha thinking about??" A sweet voice came into my bunk.
"Just how much I can't wait to see my best friend again!!"
"Oh, that hurts sweetie, I thought I was your best friend!!" Then Nick started
to fake cry.
"You know what I mean Nick, you're my best guy friend, but a girl needs her
girlfriends!!"
"Yeah, I know!!! So, will you play Nintendo with me now??? Pwwweeeaasseee??"
Nick asked with puppy dog eyes, you know the ones!!
"Yeah I guess, what do I get for it??"
"My utmost respect young lady!!" Said Nick before dragging me out of my bunk
to the entertainment room where he and I sat and started to play.
