Chapter 41

Later That Night

Brian's View

Tiffany and I were on our way home. We spent the whole day at the venue. She loved all the presents I got her. She thanked me like a million times. All the stuffed animals and stuff should be delivered to our home tomorrow morning. I don't know where I'm going to put all that stuff.

"You tired?" she asked.

"Not really," I said taking her hand and squeezing it affectionately.

"Well, I'm pretty tired," she sighed.

"Well, don't be to tired because I still have another surprise for you," I smiled. She raised her eyebrows in surprise and said, "You do?"

"Yeah I do," I said.

"I don't need anymore surprises. You've spent enough money on me already."

"It didn't cost that much money, believe me," I said.

"Well, OK," she said. I pulled up to the gates and punched in the code numbers. The gates slowly opened and I drove past.

"So are Christian and Michelle going to be OK over at Nick's?"

"Yeah they'll be fine," I smiled. I asked Nick to take care of Michelle and Christian so Tiffany and I could be alone for the night. Colleen decided to stay with AJ so it's just her and me tonight.

I parked the car and got out. Tiffany followed me up to the door and waited as I got the key out. I unlocked the door and opened it slightly. I peeked in and saw the faint glow of candles. I smiled and then took Tiffany's hand. I opened the door wider and pulled her in. I closed the door and looked at her.

"Brian, what is all of this?" she asked smiling. I looked at all the lighted candles and just smiled.

"Remember how I was telling you what we would do once I proposed to you but I never got to do it?"

"Yeah," she smiled.

"Well, this is it," I said.

"Aww...Brian you're to sweet," she said. I pulled her close to me and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I know I am," I smiled slightly and then brought my lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back. I pulled away and smiled.

"C'mon," I said taking her hand and walking slowly up the stairs. I opened the door to our room and walked in. I let go of her hand and closed the door quietly. She was staring at the room with a little smile planted on her face. I walked up behind her and wrapped my hands around her waist. I rested my chin on her shoulder and whispered in her ear, "Do you like it?"

She put her hands over mine and said, "It's beautiful."

I looked at the room and smiled. The guys did a great job at setting it up. They did everything that I told them to do. The doors were open and the silk curtains were swaying in the breeze, and we could hear the faint sounds of the ocean. The bed and the floor were filled with red rose petals and candles were lit all around the room. Right beside the bed in three bowls were chocolate, cherries, and strawberries along with champagne.

"This is so romantic," she said. I turned her around and kissed her on the lips.

"I knew you would like it," I smiled.

"I love it," she said kissing me on the lips. I kissed her back moving forward towards the bed never pulling apart from her. I laid her down and well you know the drill. We did everything that I planned. We fed each other fruit and we drank champagne and then of course made love but I don't really need to tell you details about that. I'm just saying that I'm the happiest man in the world right now.
